I was expecting to see 30 copies of the New Yorker magazine.

that bump stock allow you to shoot 800 rounds a second.

Yup, that’s the one. Imagine the $$$ per second to fire that beast.

Brains are not as requirement for a Democrat to become a high level appointee or even elected official. In fact, they are more of a handicap.

I still think the dumbest anti-gun comment of all time was what Diana DeGette said when debating the then-proposed ban on 30 round magazines here in occupied Colorado. During a discussion of the grandfathering of existing magazines a comment was made that the ban would have no effect on those mags. Her response was that those mags would go away over time because once the “bullets” in them were used up, they would be rendered useless.
“Democracy” in action.

“That’s the equivalent of 2266 MPH or almost Mach 3, nearly three times the speed of sound.”
That’s fast.
Scary fast.
So scary I can see their next bill. “Today there are bullets on the market - you can just walk into the store and buy them - and these bullets are designed to go FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF SOUND!! Now, I don’t know about you - but NOBODY needs a bullet that can go faster than the speed of sound...”

At an air show one was on stationary display and I put my finger into the place where the rounds would come out, feeling the sharp ridges of the rifling. Amazing to think of that thing in action.

What’s dumb is keeping our fingers crossed hoping that SCOTUS overturns Trump’s gun ban.

Biden promised to appoint a black woman to the Supreme Court, which meant that 98% of lawyers were excluded and he had to pick from the remaining 2%—and of course it had to be a leftist pro-abortion Democrat and young enough to stay on the court many years (she was born in 1970 and is the second-youngest Justice, older only than Coney Barrett who was born in 1972).
To: Rummyfan
Can’t tell us what a woman is but can sure tell us what an “assault rifle” is.

Yes, I listened to the argument, and Brian Fletcher, the government lawyer misspoke.
It was even funnier, because he had previously said "Rate of fire" does not matter in the legal arguments.

Wow, I want me one of those 600 times a second fully automatic rifles. Oh, wait that is not a reasonable number, because the putting in new magazines would slow down the firing rate substantially. There are no 600 round magazines and besides lots of parts on the AR-style rifle would get supper hot, maybe even cook off some rounds.
