Good! More power to him. Flush all these worthless RINOs down the toilet.

Phelan switched parties a few years ago, but old die-hard loyalties remain in force.

How dare he! Paxton should have just accepted the DEM and GOP’s combined attack to take him out and resigned when they threatened him at the beginning of the impeachment saga.

“When a Republican campaigns against RINOs who violated law, principle, and practical politics to side with the left, it is called revenge.”
I prefer the term reprisal. It is mostly a wholesome concept if not taken too far.

One of the most important topics to me. I hold myself back from revenge and do what the New Age weird woman Esther Hicks (Ask and It Is Given and The Law of Attraction) would call a “pivot.” I do something nice for the person.
Here is an excellent book about the distinction.

The Dallas Mourning News went on full maniacal pit bull attack mode when Ken Paxton started running for AG years ago. The Dallas paper is about as communist as the Austin “American” Statesmen paper. He has been treated just as badly as Trump has been.
He is one of us.

A march through Texas [especially Austin] to the Sea sounds appropriate.

The first thing they need to do is to change the impeachment process in TX so that an impeached person isn't "temporarily suspended" from office until the Senate has a trial and reaches a verdict. Paxton was unable to work for months because of that stupid clause. I can't think of any other state that does that, and the federal government certainly doesn't. (Bill Clinton wasn't "suspended" as President during Monicagate, etc.) It basically amounts to a Texas impeachment working as "The accused is hereby Presumed Guilty until proven innocent"

Another backwards article. The uniparty impeached Paxton in order to stop him doing his job; now that he’s cleared it he’s proceeding to do his job.
It’d be stupid to give them another bite at the apple.

Paxton’s survival is why the old axiom, if you make an attempt to kill the king, be sure you succeed.
This episode exposed how many Bush rinos are in the TX House, and why they need to be gone.
