Let’s see… Half of NATO countries hate our guts. All of them should recognize that Europe is their playground. The United States is 3,000+ miles away and has no direct vested interest in local matters. Why should we put up more than all the NATO countries combined? How about a little self introspection on their part?

NATO in its present form is obsolete it needs to evolve into some other form of defensive alliance or alliances that reflect the times.

Nope! Didn’t say that! I said replace NATO with one or more defensive alliances that reflects the 2020s not the 1950s.
The US should take out an ad in major newspapers saying that it will no longer be responsible for the cost, support and defense of Europe, period.
NATO became obsolete when the “wall” fell. The US “obligations” should be null and void since the establishment of the European Union.
I researched Zimko when I chose RCB Ukraine over The Telegraph to source this article.
RCB Ukraine is a radical Socialist Feminist site, and an ordinary American is in danger of laughing himself to death while perusing it.
