The president cannot unilaterally revoke a treaty; Trump wants the others to meet treaty obligations Well, it’s just NATO speculation with some Ukrainian spin on it.
Somebody wants money.

Now that the Ukranian Z-boys have kicked the Russki’s ass, why the heck do we need NATO? We could really “save da planet” with the money being wasted on NATO.

I’d be OK to withdrawal.

"Yeah well if NATO does not pay their fare share they need to GTFO"
NATO made sense when there was a Soviet Union. Since then NATO has become a subsidiary of the Globalists (like the United Nations). If we want to continue as a nation and not just be part of some global conglomerate like "Oceania" in 1984, we should keep NATO at arms length and have no part of it.

He may not be able to revoke the treaty but he’ll have command and control over deployments, assignments and numbers.

"Nobody knows what he's going to do next," the diplomat said, adding that NATO countries should develop a scenario to reduce the alliance's dependence on the United States.
A diplomat from another NATO country said that countries like Britain should take even more of a lead in European security, as a possible U.S. withdrawal from NATO would create a "massive gap."
It's not much a peer-signed treaty if the entire thing is based on one partner providing almost everything. That's more of a superior-subordinate relationship, than one between equals.
Maybe if they start spending 2%+ on their militaries, they'd be more ready for these US to not provide everything...
To: for-q-clinton
The US might could just match the rest of NATO’s percentage of GNP. I’d go for that.
