He is like the Pharisees, his is so very righteous as long as it is profitable for him.
For some people their righteousness is really just cowardice, greed, and every evil made manifest in a way that appears to be virtue at first glance.
They are wonderfully generous — with other people’s money.
They show great courage — in doing what everyone else approves of.

Pence was put in place on the Trump ticket initially as a mole by the deep state, and to provide a block to certain policies not advantageous to them. It will be interesting to see what the payoff will be for him, and where he winds up.
