November 1932 is when Roosevelt was elected to office. The real major downfall of the Republic was the 17th Amendment, Direct Election of U.S. Senators, that totally destroyed the balance we had between the Feds and the States.

This country, as well as the rest of Western Europe, has been on a downward spiral since the advent of Progressive politics of say 130 years ago.

The Trump team will get RFK Jr's views out at the appropriate time.

In meantime, let everybody think his candidacy is hurting Trump more than Biden.

Every reliable polls shows RFK jr hurting Biden more than Trump, NBC is not a source of reliable polls. It is why the Dems have formed a PAC to prevent RFK jr being on the ballot and why they are still urging him to drop out and running commercials of Kennedy kin saying the same thing

Doesn’t matter, the Deep State controls the Voter DB, and it will re-elect Branden, even if no one living voted for him.

I don’t believe that RFK Jr. is taking more votes from Trump than from Biden.

But if it turns out to be true, then there would be no hope for the republic anyway — it would mean that a majority of the population is a sucker for leftism (of one variety or another).

Just go and vote for Trump!

(And also be sure to vote for the Republican candidate for Congress in your district in November. I hate to say this, but do it even if he or she is a RINO. There’s a chance that no one will get a majority of the electoral vote, in which case the President would be decided by the House.)

Running for President is in the blood for Kennedys. I think Joe wanted to run if FDR had not chosen to run in 1940. Joe Jr. would have run if he hadn't died in WWII. JFK, RFK and Teddy all ran (Teddy against a President of his own party and after the Chappaquiddick scandal). JFK Jr. no doubt would have run if he hadn't crashed his plane. So it is not surprising RFK Jr. is running.

One thing to bear in mind is that third party candidates often get much less on election day than the polls months before had predicted they would get. People decide to vote for the lesser of two evils of the two major parties.

I guess we don’t disagree all that much. I agree they exist too.

I just don’t believe these contemptible people (who would flip a coin to determine how they would vote) exist in numbers are as great as one would think, especially some who would have ostensibly voted for Trump, but would vote for RFK Jr.

I simply assert that the preponderance of these types of voters who lack two brain cells to rub together are more numerous in the brain-dead segment of the electorate, that is, on the Left.

From the very first day, RFK has been in the campaign to hurt Trump.

After 2016, when the Green Party caused Hillary to lose Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, the Democratic Party vowed: Never Again!

Specifically - never again would a politically Left third party be allowed to cause a Democratic presidential candidate to lose a state.

In 2020, in those three swing states, the Green Party vote total dropped 88%. Nationally, the Green Party dropped 72%.

RFK may have had a vague fantasy that the Democratic Party would nominate him, instead of Kamala, if Biden died or faltered badly.

But, that moment has passed, and RFK completely understands that pulling a couple of percentage points away from Trump in vital swing states is his only mission now.

No 3rd party “causes” one of the big 2 to lose an election. They don’t own the votes. if the voters don’t like their candidate they vote for somebody else. And truthfully people shouldn’t vote for the big 2, they suck and don’t stand for anything.

Well, the collective hysteria of all those Kennedy siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews tells me that they are afraid he will hurt Biden more.

Well, Republicans are the Stupid Party, and the stupidity at the top has to come from somewhere (most likely brainwashed Never-Trumpers).

I agree that getting costs down is important, but if Trump heads into the territory of “austerity” in his messaging, then he’s gonna lose people.

Inflation is an issue, Trump has frequently acknowledged that. Let him fix it his own way while dealing with real issues that he HAS ALWAYS talked about: Securing the border, deporting illegals, and keeping us out of expensive foreign entanglements.

$4 Trillion of our budget is Health Care Costs, Defense Spending, and Interest on the Debt. And Biden wants a $7 Trillion Budget we can’t afford.

I don’t think Trump has any plan to deal with the Fiscal Irresponsibility since he and Biden Both are responsible for wild inflation now because of adding over $8 Trillion to the Debt and more coming at $1 Trillion every 100 Days. We have never gotten over the Covid Lockdowns that just about destroyed our economy and country.

I have strong reservations on Trump and I damn sure don’t want Biden again.

If Inflation, by data manipulation , shows any signs of “Cooling”, I predict at least one quarter point rate decrease to juice the market, maybe another, but it will be a disaster for us just for political gain, before the election. Then in 2025 rate increases will be back on table and we will be looking at 12% Prime Rates.
