Consumers will be required to provide such information (copy of most-recent income tax return).
What?! You thought that they were going to rely on an "honor system?!"
Regards,
Let’s force everyone to go electric then tax the heck out of electric power...
Hannibal Smith (A Team): I love it when a plan comes together.
Apparently nothing will ever wake up Kalifornians.
I think that's next
the cracker tax
Ca does not recognize dual state citizenship.
If you are there more than 15 days in a row you have to become a resident.
Driver’s license, car registration, income taxes, Etc.
“copy of most-recent income tax return”
would love to see mass refusal to do that ... what are they gonna do, cut off everyone’s electricity, levy a fine? ... class action lawsuits galore, i would hope ...
I have two siblings in California that are going to be on opposite ends of this stupid California maneuver. One whose income is very low will benefit, and one who (with a very high income) inspite of his solar panels will see a bigger electric bill due to the higher charges for most of his use, which is at nite time when there is no sun and the grid has to supply him.
Illegals excluded of course...

“Pools? They’ve become a costly burden for most in CA. Even people in the pool biz have admitted it...Many have opted to fill-in their pools and be done with the expenses.”
Had a pool in AZ. Always adding water.
Almost never have to add water here in Florida.
Great Idea! My mother in law lives with us and is on social security of about $1500 a month. Should bring my bill down to about $20 bucks a month! I also have a pool. Current bill is about $250 to $300 every month.
And you know that info is going to leak all over the web.
Pools for fools..
Yeah, I think you’re safe there.
