If the National Enquire is there “The Men In Black” must be involved.

I thought the actual payments were made after the election. Or were those the payments to Cohen?
The whole thing is stupid.

Today is the first full day of the actual trial. Everything up to now has been court administration, with the limited exception of Pecker’s short time on the stand yesterday.

According to the Statement of Facts, Trump’s attorney wired $130,000 to the attorney representing “Woman 2” on or about October 27, 2016. The attorney was reimbursed by way of 12 monthly payments starting on February 14, 2017.
That said, this case is absolute nonsense from a legal standpoint. From a political perspective, it is exactly what the Democrats want.

One thing that’s never been made clear to me about this case - Are these not Trump’s personal records? Does the New York law actually penalize people for mis-labeling things in their own personal records? or were these records submitted with his tax filings?

It’s an expense disagreement trial and a lot of b.s. from the point of beginning. But, since they have no real case they have to go for the sex angle.

So what business is it of anyone else? How do they even know what was written in his ledger?

So what business is it of anyone else? I agree. Unfortunately, entities like the IRS don’t embrace that philosophy.
