”The Games are a celebration of diversity,” the Olympics’ official website says. “To mark the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, Paris 2024 is once again setting out its commitment to combating all forms of discrimination,” euphemistically referring to any opposition to homosexuality or transgenderism. It added that the “Pride House” is intended to “celebrate” LGBT “minorities” and their “pride.”

Well, they knew that they couldn’t pray to the God of Israel to bless sexual deviants. At least they were honest on that.

The first Olympic events were held in Olympia, Washington, in 2000, to commemorate Y2K.
(I think... I may be wrong.)

LOL! Tumwater, Baby!
I was stationed at the shipyard in Bremerton near the beginning of my “illustrious” Navy career.
Beer machine in the barracks was loaded with Olympia.
Those were the days!

“A backlash from Christians online”
First: why are Christians upset? It’s pretty late in the day to be upset about overthrowing the church. They’ve been at it since 1789, maybe 1519. Nothing to be done about it now.
Second, if they are upset, why is it online? Keyboard masturbation isn’t activism.
Third, what are they prepared to do? Nothing? Thought so.

The Olympics started with people who worshipped Zeus and Apollo. Not really seeing the issue. Better than offering up prayers to Allah, which is probably right around the corner for most of Europe.

Macron has already compared himself to Jupiter. He can dress up as Zeus himself.
P. S. Zeus / Jupiter loved to fool around with various nymphs and maidens. What would Mrs. Macron say?
