It would make an interesting skylight for buildings near the lunar equator and prime meridian, or bay window for buildings where the earth is nearer the horizon. The earth is nearly always overhead at lunar coordinates 0 N, 0 E.
This is what the Earth analemma would look like from the Apollo landing site, (0.6875 N, 23.4333 E) July 15 - August 13, 1969. I generated this with Starry Night Pro 8.0
From your FR home page:
"Name-calling, stereotyping, and childish insults do not substitute for rational thought and intelligent discussion"
That fellow has a long and sordid history of being wrong on any topic related to space exploration. How about you? Do YOU believe space exploration to be all fake? Hmmm? Come out of the closet and tell us all where you stand.
Rational FR'ers recognize posts/replies where the author loses the argument on that basis.
Not quite. From “Brain Damage” it’s:
And if the band you’re in starts playing different tunes,
I’ll see you on the dark side of the moon.
So I did a quick check.

Or some one lied to you, as I remember the mission at the time clearly as a Navy Mission. So either back up your claim or go away.

I see you got your info from the ever reliable Wikipedia - known to be heavily edited by anyone who wants to edit the “knowledge” base.
So you are a full fledged troll - making counter claims without anything to back them up.
OK ... you claimed that Clementine was a Navy mission.
Prove it. Objectively; your memory doesn’t count.
Your other claims hinge on that, so you can start by proving that Clementine (1994) was a Navy mission.
#9 ~ Beatles ?
Might as well be the Bill Nelson from BeBop Deluxe!
Still ignoring your own advice, huh?
Do YOU believe space exploration to be all fake? Hmmm? Come out of the closet and tell us all where you stand.
I know that. I was using Nelson’s “backside” to increase the ridiculousness of his statement. .
Why would you assume that? Because I called you out for being a dick? You think because someone disagrees with you on one point, they must disagree on everything?
Looking at your posting history, I think you and I agree on most things, except, of course, your reticence about President Trump.
Unless I find out you're a flerfer.
I didn’t assume anything. I asked a question. Considering that other guy’s history, it’s a valid question. If you’ve been researching enough of MY history, you see where I stand on space flight fakery ... and if you go back far enough, you’ll even find out where I stand on flerfery.
“Maybe that’s why I thought he was a good guy...vaguely remember him but I did remember the name...”
If you meet him, you will probably like him as a person. He is a good retail politician and I respect that. There are a lot of politicians, athletes, and billionaires who are above speaking to little people and are not timid about letting you know it.
The couple of times I interacted with Nelson he just struck me as someone with a real sense of fair play.
We didn’t talk politics so I’m sure that helps me to remember him kindly.
