...I just realized I'd goofed up trying to record a program for my granddaughter. Murphy was correct: "It's impossible to make things idiotproof because idiots are so ingenious." (It takes a special kind of stupid to goof things up the way I just did.)

Dear friends, I just got the call that I've been dreading, but expecting.
My sis died at about midnight Texas time.
God has taken her home.

She devoted the last twenty-five years of her life to caring for the needs of veterans in the VA Hospitals in San Antonio, and I know many of them are welcoming her into heaven right now.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

I'll be going to San Antonio to take care of her final business.
