Prayers up for all those mourning the death of little Grace.
May God console and comfort them with the knowledge that their angel is with Him.
May God bless the loved ones with His peace, mercy and guidance as they deal with Grace’s homegoing.
I don’t know what to say. I wasn’t blessed with a child, but I recently lost my mother, who was also my dearest friend. The pain I feel is searing, but the thought of losing one so sweet and pure as Grace, must be like having knives turned inside your hearts. God bless Grace’s dear family and friends; her medical staff; caregivers; and all who loved and prayed for her.
In all humility, I don’t believe God wanted Grace to die, but everything that happens in this world is the result of the gift of free will God bestowed on us. God understands your painful grief because He has a Son who, while He watched in sorrow, also died. May He comfort and bless all of you, as He does the radiant, fully realized soul of your Grace.
Thank you, Joe, for bringing this darling infant into our lives. Your stunning, luminous prose; the intimate images of her beauty and sweetness; her inestimable worth; and the impact of her precious life on our minds and hearts, will forever serve to perpetuate her memory.

I’m so very sorry. The death of a child is so heartrending, and one so young even more so. May God comfort the family in the way only He can.
We are so sad to learn of this, but thank you for letting us know. These little ones who are with us so briefly do have a divine plan, as you, Joe, so eloquently stated yesterday.
