While its not on the list, I have always thought my Catholic high school was one of the best. They were even able to teach a few things to a very indifferent student.
Bishop England High School, Charleston, SC
Class of 1970
The rankings seem to be more associated with adherence to Catholic dogma/doctrine than academics. I noticed a dearth of Jesuit and Ursuline schools on that list - two orders that don’t always toe the line with the Mother Church. My wife is from KY, grew up in the Catholic school system in Louisville and had never heard of “Holy Angels Academy”. Yet none of the prominent Catholic girls schools (such as Sacred Heart Academy and Assumption) are on the list. Neither is St.X (boys school).
Like your screen name, the only way it could be better if it was CLIO or as some of the locals say CL TEN street.
CC class of ‘03 here.
We were still in Redford when I graduated, but construction had begun on their new (and much nicer) facility.
Thanks. I *almost* picked CL-10, but it takes too much effort to explain on message boards. I had also just started riding in Muses, so that sort of tipped the scale.
