Isn’t there a mystery about Jesus’ 40 days after the resurrection?

What happened to Eden? No one could enter. The flood changed the continents and the garden was destroyed. If God thought it was important, he would have told us.
The giants of Genesis. Intermarriage changed the gene pool. If God thought it was important, he would have told us.
Where did Melchizedek come from? Don’t know. If God thought it was important, he would have told us.
The Witch of Endor. Who knows? If God thought it was important, he would have told us.
The Ark of the Covenant. Carried away by the Assyrians. If God thought it was important, he would have told us.

I’ve always speculated that Melchizedek and Shem could be the same person. Never can be proved, though.

I always thought God said the Israelites wouldn’t be able to ever get the ark of the covenant back, so to me that said it is buried under some Muslim unholy rock they worship..

Good answers!
The word “mystery” appears twenty eight times in the New Testament, but is not found in the Old Testament. The Greek word “musterion,” translated “mystery” did not mean something that is obscure or incomprehensible; rather it meant a truth given and revealed only to a select few that was unknown until it was revealed. Only those initiated into the group learned the secrets and after initiation the mystery was revealed.
With that definition in mind, the biggest mystery for me is Christ’s love that set me free from the penalty of sin!
The List of Truths which were mysteries in Old Testament times but were revealed in the New Testament:
1. The Fullness of the times of the Gentiles. Rom. 8:10
2. The Indwelling of the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 2:6-16
3. The coming Rapture of the church. 1 Cor. 15:51
4. Of God’s Will Eph. 1:9
5. The dispensation of Grace. Eph. 3:3
6. The fellowship of believers. Eph. 3:9
7. The church as the Bride of Christ. Eph. 5:32
8. Of the Gospel. Eph. 6:19
9. Of Christ. Col. 4:3
10. Of Iniquity II Thess. 2:7
11. Of Faith I Tim. 3:16
12. Of Godliness I Tim. 3:16
13. Of Seven Churches of Asia Rev. 1:20
14. Of Babylon Rev. 17:5,7

The Giants moved to New York.
One of my great questions of the Bible is why a loving God would ever let the Dallas Cowboys lose a game.

The Cowboys have never lost a game they showed up to play in.

LOL. Well, as a fan of 50 years, I’d like to think that’s true. Hard to play without an offensive line, though.

Large mystery is how can God’s biblical calendar be revealed in His word and neither the majority of Jews or Christians use it to mark days, sabbaths?...they did at some time in history... I guess the Gregorian is the world’s alternative...

Thanks NYer.
Melchizedek was also the ruler of Salem, hence his name, which means king of righteousness.
No, the literal translation of his name is "Zedek Is My King" -- Zedek was his deity, the planet Jupiter, which was worshipped as Sydyk by the Phoenicians.
To account for the permanent loss of the site of the Garden of Eden, the Great Flood (which *quite mysteriously* isn't listed as one of the mysteries) would have to occurred in such a way that the flooded region has remained flooded. IOW, the continental shelf, where almost everyone around at that time was living when the interior was stacked up miles deep in ice, over ten thousand years ago, wound up covered by the rising sealevel. If it wasn't the melted ice, then water came from outside the Earth and did that same job.
The Lost Tribes were marched off by the Assyrians to various different distant corners of their empire; we know this because of the dozens of Ashoka's pillars, which are inscribed with the same message but in what was then the local tongue, at least three -- in modern Afghanistan -- are inscribed in Aramaic. The dating precludes any other explanation. And the Ashkenazy Jews -- all Jews of European descent -- came from eastern Europe, and the genetic traces of their Hebrew roots are still there.
The giants in the Earth reference is for fossil remains of extinct animals; the other references to giants include the iron bedstead of Og of Bashan, last of the Rephaim, who were called as tall as the Anakim (giants), and of course the slaying of the giant Goliath by David.
Mystery: Exodus 4:24-26 (PDF)
One of *those* topics, besides.

Yeah, but let’s not ignore the Great Schism of 1958, when approximately half of the Giants switched their allegiance to the Western Patriarchate.
