1. Ok, then why did you say "they would NEVER be Christians"? 2. Iran was Zoroastrian and heavily Assyrian Christian until the 7th century. Even then, Christianity was a large minority until Timur-E-Lang 3. It also changed from Sunni to Shia Islam a few centuries ago. Change can happen

=======================================

1. I just believe that I know the Iranians. There were enough of them in the KSA to get a read.

2. I know about Zoroaster, and about the "Assyrian Christian." That had to do with the Mongolian conquests. That changed the face of Asia forever.

3. True. That had to do with Iranian history and the Iranians themselves. The rest of Islam is Sunni (KSA). I USED to know why they changed but forgot because I don't care. I think it had to do with its Iranians founder.
Our relationship is with Sunni KSA so who cares about the 88 million Iranians who think they are God's gift to humanity?

Change CAN happen. Look at us! President Donald J. Trump. I never thought it could happen. HALLELUJIAH!!!

1. Why they became Islamic is due to a combination of two factors: a. Islamic pressure b. Zoroastrianism under the later Sassanids was more elite, less people based. The more the Saudis say Islam should be "Arab the master race", the more Iranis will move away from ISlam

People don't "become" Muslim because of "Islamic pressure." They ARE BORN Muslim...as in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world.

The Saudis DON'T "say" that the Arabs are the master race. The USA and Saudis have been business partners since the 1920's. We lived in the KSA for five years and were NEVER pressured to become Muslims. NEVER.

Lol. Arabs the "master race"??? Only 25% of all Muslims are Arabs. They are a drop in the bucket. They are Semitic, that's all: long faces, hooked noses, low foreheads, dark hair and HAIRY folks...even the women. "Master race"?? You are confusing them with Hitler.

The ORIGINAL Ayrians were those Iranians who DID think that THEY were the master race. But, they always DID think so. There are 88 million Iranians so their collective voice is loud. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world. Look it up. THEY are all Oriental Asians. Go figure.

Hitler, the AUSTRIAN who learned his anti-Semitism from his Austrian culture, didn't arrive in Germany until he was 22 or 23 years old. Why he thought the Germans/Austrians were a master race was his own lacuna. Those two countries produce wonderful cars, engineers and scientists...but no "master race."

History is very important. It tells us who we are and why we are the way we are. Unfortunately, the victors write history...and it's often riddled with lies.

That's all moot for me as I live in the greatest country this planet has ever seen. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Thanks for your feedback.

Politics
Main article: Politics of Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is an absolute monarchy.[86] However, according to the Basic Law of Saudi Arabia adopted by royal decree in 1992, the king must comply with Sharia (Islamic law) and the Quran, while the Quran and the Sunnah (the traditions of Muhammad) are declared to be the country’s constitution.[87] No political parties or national elections are permitted.[86] Critics regard it as a totalitarian dictatorship.[88]The Economist rates the Saudi government as the fifth most authoritarian government out of 167 rated in its 2012 Democracy Index,[19] and Freedom House gives it its lowest “Not Free” rating, 7.0 (”1=best, 7=worst”) for 2013.[89]

In the absence of national elections and political parties,[86] politics in Saudi Arabia takes place in two distinct arenas: within the royal family, the Al Saud, and between the royal family and the rest of Saudi society.[90] Outside of the Al-Saud, participation in the political process is limited to a relatively small segment of the population and takes the form of the royal family consulting with the ulema, tribal sheikhs and members of important commercial families on major decisions.[91] This process is not reported by the Saudi media.[92]

Essentially, most Iranian People will always remain Zoroastrians. That is in spite of “the Islamic Republic Mullahs”, politics and invaders. It’s been so for 1400 years, and counting.

But, the article can’t even get the basics of Zoroastrianism correctly.

And, IF there was the slighted chance of “March 15 date and movement to overthrow the Mullahs’ regime”, it shouldn’t have been publicised in a “Breaking News from Israel” over 2 months before the event! LOL!

Bottom line: Fake news aimed to mislead & stir up trouble.

IOW, plan on a roundup of Zoroastrians on 14 March by the Islamic overlords.

That’d be one natural conclusion from this insane & really comical article.

Though neither the Zoroastrians (born or converts in Iran) would do it (especially not with advance warnings published by an Israeli news outlet), nor would the mullahs’ regime round them up because the mullahs might be nutjobs, but still are surprisingly intelligent on many levels.

BTW, a lot typically happens on Charshanbe Suri in Iran. Nothing new. There has always been a public safety element and issue regarding it for decades, even before the Mullahs’ regime.

Also noteworthy, Cronos:

The author of this article Mordechai Kedar, is an Israeli scholar of Arabic culture and a lecturer at Bar-Ilan University. He holds a Ph.D. from Bar-Ilan University. He masters Hebrew, Arabic and English.

Mordechai Kedar is an academic expert on the Israeli Arab population. <--- that has nothing to do with Iranians, especially Zoroastrians. It's very obvious from the content of this article too.
