You're bearing false witness. You're the one who came charging on here questioning the Our Lady of Good Help apparitions by claiming they're not "vatican-approved".
The Blessed Mother never says one has to believe an apparition
Our Lady has never said one does not have to believe in Her apparitions. Why do you think She revealed the souls in Hell to the Fatima children? Why do you think the sun danced? It's the Church who says one does not have to believe in any of Her apparitions. Our Lady as never said that.
See the linked article in post #18 to see how that is done. Hopefully you'll learn something.
From the time they were first founded and named, the Americas consist of North, Central, and South America. It is more accurate to say that her appearance in WI was her first visit to the United States of America.
But we don't use the word "America" (singular) to mean anything other than the "United States of America".
Had stanne used the plural "Americas", she would have been correct.
But my point wasn't simply to point out a cartography error, but two historical ones as well; the Blessed Mother's visit to Juan Diego was not "600 years ago", and the Blessed Mother appeared here in the U.S. of A. as recently as 1859, a fact acknowledged by the Church itself.
From your article: Determining the veracity of an apparition falls to the local bishop, and the Vatican’s doctrinal congregation established the norms to guide the process.
Sorry, ebb tide, I meant the above to go to stanne!
