The Church is the Body of Christ. Didn’t Christ go through His passion wherein all seemed lost? So too, when all seems lost in the Church, I think of Christ’s passion and the subsequent glory of His resurrection.
Amen and bump to that. God will not let His Church fall.
You don’t even know the differenc between gross revenue and profit. You are an ignoramus. Your opinion means nothing. You are dply full of hatred.
Fight how?
What do you do when they pass the plate? Drop a strongly worded letter to the Pope? No, you hand them some victory. Or not.
We have a faithful priest and very small (and poor) parish. We also have an exceptionally fine Caatholic grade school. So we support the school and the parish. Some of what we give to the parish goes to the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. We can’t help that, but it is an unfortunate fact.
The Church is not evil, even if some of the hierarchy is. When I said don’t give evil his victory, U was speaking oif those who would leave the Church i despair. That is what the Devil wants them to do,
Why not try? Stand and fight, no matter the cost, no matter how hopeless it seems.
I want to support our Parush and school, The Diocese gets about 5% of that.
There’s nothing to “try”. I can’t tell our priest he can’t send the Diocese it’s cut.
I am not going to cut off my nose to spite my face. And I am not going to abandon the True Church.
that’s the whole point of my original post.
