Yes, I can support them that way all day. Does it mean sending them billions of dollars in money or materials? No, we have no obligation to do that.

Yes, indeed. Both in particularly being chosen, blessed as well as judged as being beloved for the father's sake, and with God punishing the instruments of His chastisements. And yet God still has plans for Israel after the flesh:

Thus I ask again, How is the support of Israel and the Jews "idolatrous"? In the context which this refers to, do you deny the right of the state of Israel to exist or do you support the Hamasitical quests to eliminate it? Simply choice.

i think future destruction is guaranteed by the Word, to paraphrase: a stink will rise from their bodies as their blood melts into the mountains. glass mountains? nothing will be left of those who don’t flee. so i won’t pray against my reading of God’s Will.
in terms of diaspora, we’re still in one as a matter of fact. since the re-founding, a few Jews have sought God and returned to their land. that is an unmitigated good, since since seeking God and His land is and has always been a perquisite for Jewish repentance and then salvation—however God is sought is a good. perhaps God inspires envy, fear, or admiration in the hearts of diaspora Jews as they see their brethren struggling to keep Edom and the devil at bay.
so i pray that they, the remnant, will indeed repent, seeing the struggle of Israel to survive, wherever they are, and especially in Judah and Jerusalem as that is God’s forever promise to them.
