Two U.S. senators are urging the Federal Transit Authority to clarify a ban on Chinese rail manufacturers and to warn local transit authorities of potential national security threats from China, in a letter obtained by Axios. The big picture: The ban highlights a growing expansion of national security risks to include economic security, as the U.S. responds to Chinese government economic policies that many perceive as exploitative. Details: Dated Feb. 13 and addressed to Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, the letter from Senators John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.) cites confusion about the ban and urges the FTA to provide...

Before they dropped out, Kamala Harris and Julian Castro were big Joy Reid faves. Now with only people of pallor left to choose from, Reid seems to like Elizabeth Warren. One person who is definitely not high on Reid's list is Bernie Sanders. During MSNBC's coverage of the Nevada caucuses this morning, Saturday, Reid ripped Sanders on two fronts. First, she claimed that by tweeting that he wouldn't let the Democratic establishment stop him, Sanders was "kicking to the curb" 65 million Hillary voters, among others. Second, she compared Sanders to the ultimate liberal villain, President Trump. Reid claimed there...

This is an expanded version of my previous article "Julian Assange, CrowdStrike, and the Russian Hack that Wasn't." "American Greatness" wanted me to do it because CrowdStrike has received so much attention recently. There's a good bit of overlap, but this is more comprehensive. It incorporates new information and further elaborates on old info. Supersedes original piece as best source for full story of how and why fake DNC hack was perpetrated and precisely what it was designed to do.

Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren are unimpressed with Mike Bloomberg’s decision to release three women from their nondisclosure agreement, saying the former New York City mayor needs to do much more. “Just not good enough,” the Massachusetts Senator told reporters Friday. “Michael Bloomberg needs to do a blanket release so that all women who have been muzzled by nondisclosure agreements can step up and tell their side of the story in terms of what Michael Bloomberg has done,” The criticism was swiftly echoed by former VP Biden, a tag team which echoed their joint attack on Bloomberg during the Democratic...

Phil Haney the patriot, whose work in the department of Homeland Security was scrubbed by the Obama administration because it implicated Islam , has been found dead along a highway in California. His book “See Something, Say Nothing” is the account of his experience being black balled and dismissed for his work on Islamic infiltration of America. He will be sorely missed but is with his Savior and Lord now.

A liberal couple driving their car have been arrested for driving two teens off the road because the kids had Trump stickers on their bicycles. The police in Hobart, Indiana, arrested Kyren Gregory Perry-Jones, 23, and Cailyn Marie Smith, 18, after reviewing Snapchat video that showed the July 22 incident, according to NWI.com. According to the police investigation, Smith can be heard taunting the teens and saying, “Y’all scared, just like your president … America is not great, (expletive).” Smith is also heard asking the teens if they are Trump supporters, and they admit that they are. “And I think: It is time for moral leadership to be restored to the White House,” he said. “So when you are ready to share that deepest truth about yourself, when you are ready to step out of the closet you step out into something hopeful and inclusive, and you look up to Washington and you see a president who cares about you and loves you.”

Despite being a self-described socialist and a scourge of the elite classes, Bernie Sanders is in fact a millionaire with a property portfolio that includes three homes, which are pictured in exclusive DailyMail.com photos. The 78-year-old Vermont senator’s property portfolio was mocked by presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg during Wednesday night’s debate, as he remarked: “The best known socialist in the country happens to be a millionaire with three houses. What did I miss?” “You missed that I work in Washington; house one,” responded Sanders. “I live in Burlington; house two. And like thousands of other Vermonters, I do have a...

The 1980 United States Olympic hockey team struck gold and started a movement. The American squad was a patchwork of college players from the Northeast and the upper Midwest under the direction of coach Herb Brooks. They completed their improbable run to the gold medal on Sunday, Feb. 24, with a 4-2 victory over Finland at the Olympic Fieldhouse in Lake Placid, N.Y

The initial forced labor in the British North American colonies involved indentured servants who served a limited amount of time and were then freed. Many whites volunteered to serve a period of time in exchange for funds to pay for their trip to North America. Although these indentured servants were only temporary slaves, they were slaves in every sense of the word. Owners could mistreat them and even choose their sexual partners. Use of indentured servants continued through April, 1775, when prominent Virginia planter George Washington advertised a reward for the return of 8 white and 2 black runaways. s...

Counter-protesters tore down a barricade Wednesday in front of Canadian National (CN) railway tracks near Edmonton, Alberta, after environmental activists erected it. The activists who blocked the tracks are opposed to the Coastal GasLink pipeline in British Columbia. But the blockade was not up for long as another group soon had the barrier down and in the back of a truck. Environmentalists have brought railway traffic to a standstill now for two weeks across Canada, bringing the threat of food and fuel shortages closer every day. The activists behind the protest are claiming to represent the interests of the Wet’suwet’en...

The EU’s post-Brexit budget meeting erupted into rows with poorer countries demanding more aid while their “frugal” peers were determined to rein in spending. Brexit left the EU short of around £62 billion when Britain left the bloc last month. On Friday — after nearly 30 hours of discussions — the 27 remaining EU countries failed to agree on the overall size of the bloc’s 2021 to 2027 budget or how to spend it. Speaking after the talks in the EU’s Brussels hub, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said: “We have to acknowledge that the differences are too big still to...

Former Vice President Joe Biden has taken to describing his supposed arrest in South Africa at least three times in the past two weeks as he speaks to voters and seeks the Democratic presidential nomination. Biden has been claiming that he was arrested in the 1970s by South African authorities while he sought to visit Nelson Mandela in prison, The New York Times reported Friday. “This day, 30 years ago, Nelson Mandela walked out of prison and entered into discussions about apartheid,” Biden told supporters in South Carolina last week, according to the Times. “I had the great honor of...

Political, legal and ethics expert, former CIA Director John Brennan declared that "President Trump has the backing of a very debased group of people." His evidence, such as it is, was Trump's public criticism of the dual legal standards being applied to liars. "For Trump to imply that the same laws should apply to sainted public servants like James Comey and low-lifes like Roger Stone is outrageous," Brennan said. "What people forget is that law enforcers like Comey are explicitly granted the right to lie if, in their opinion, it is necessary to entrap bad actors. The universal consensus of...

U.S. bishops at odds After unnamed bishops claimed the Pope felt 'used' by the priest, an archbishop has come out denying the account. SANTA FE, New Mexico, February 21, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) ― A U.S. archbishop is denying a report claiming that Pope Francis expressed anger towards Fr. James Martin at a meeting of American bishops earlier this month. The original report, published Thursday by Catholic News Agency (CNA) based on accounts from unnamed bishops who attended the meeting, sparked considerable discussion given the prominent backing Fr. Martin...

Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary has sparked a race row after calling for Muslim passengers to be checked at airports in a bid to prevent terror attacks, as he claimed “that is where the threat is coming from”. Mr. O’Leary said terrorists “will generally be males of a Muslim persuasion” — and that families with young children should be let through security as they are less likely to “blow” people up. The 58-year-old added that the only way to “deal with the threat” was to vet “single male” Muslims traveling on their own. The Muslim Council of Britain said the comments...
