Cheryl Mills, who was the State Department’s counselor and chief of staff during the entirety of Hillary Clinton’s tenure, said in an email on November 13, 2012, that her colleagues were “on board” after a “come to” (Jesus?) meeting, in reference to classified congressional hearings that would be taking place later that week. Her correspondent was Philippe Reines, a longtime aide to Hillary Clinton who had asked how the “hearings”were going (perhaps meaning “briefings”?) The classified hearings were on the 15th and 16th. Of the newly released batch of Hillary Clinton emails, this one seems to be the most significant.

The U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and its non-Muslim allies have sprung into action. They are demanding that President Obama make Israel end its offensive against Hamas which, in characteristic Islamist fashion, they are falsely depicting as a genocidal crusade. Obama blames Hamas, but the pressure from Islamists, the anti-Israel left and other countries like Britain and France, may be taking a toll. A House committee is planning to hold a hearing next week on the Libya consulate attack, following up on an issue that Republicans had emphasized before the presidential election in questioning President Obama's foreign policy record. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the consulate in Benghazi. A local Libyan extremist group is suspected of carrying out the attack, but the Obama administration has been criticized for its confusing explanation for the strike and for security warnings that apparently weren't heeded.
