A new study found that fueling electric vehicles costs roughly $17 per gallon. In its paper "Overcharged Expectations: Unmasking the True Costs of Electric Vehicles," the Texas Public Policy Foundation stipulated that the hidden costs of fueling EVs drastically outweigh its low upfront fueling costs. The hidden costs come from an increased burden on the energy grid exerted by charging stations, and an enormous amount of federal subsidies. ... "Federal policy is also pushing EVs over hybrid vehicles, even though hybrids offer a far more efficient way to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions," it reads. "They use a much...

A popular catch-phrase among pro-Trump patriots is: “Nothing can stop what is coming.” This is based on the theory that there are things quietly going on behind the scenes, that President Trump still has a hand in what is happening today. Perhaps he is laying a giant trap for Democrats and the deep state establishment. Or perhaps the military is in control under the theory of devolution. Or perhaps, this is all delusional wishful thinking.

In recent days, Twitter permanently banned independent journalist Alex Berenson, Google demonetized The Gateway Pundit from its ad network, and Chase Bank canceled the credit cards of retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. __________________________________________________________________________________ With national attention riveted over the weekend on two major stories — the frantic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan amid its fall to the Taliban and category 4 Hurricane Ida slamming into the Louisiana coast — Big Tech and woke finance dramatically extended the reach of cancel culture with brazen moves to silence and harass three high-profile voices of political and scientific dissent: independent journalist Alex Berenson, popular...

Larry David and Alan Dershowitz reportedly got into a verbal altercation in a Martha's Vineyard general store over the lawyer's ties to the Trump administration, according to Page Six. "We can still talk, Larry," Dershowitz, an opinion contributor at The Hill, reportedly told the comedian and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star after the two ran into one another. "No. No. We really can’t. I saw you. I saw you with your arm around Pompeo!" David retorted. "It’s disgusting!" Dershowitz replied that Mike Pompeo, the former Secretary of State under former President Trump, was a student of his at Harvard Law, where...

The Trumpites next door to our pandemic getaway just plowed our driveway without being asked and did a great job. How am I going to resist demands for unity in the face of this act of aggressive niceness? Of course, on some level, I realize I owe them thanks — but how much thanks? These neighbors are staunch partisans of blue lives, and there aren’t a lot of anything other than white lives in the neighborhood. This is also kind of weird. Back in the city, people don’t sweep other people’s walkways for nothing. So when I accept generosity from...

Here we go. More proof of election fraud by Dominion Voting Machines. A recent hand recount in the Rockingham District 7 NH House Race in Windham, New Hampshire, found that the Dominion voting machines shorted EVERY REPUBLICAN by roughly 300 votes. Via Facebook The Dominion machine counted results were wrong for all 4 Republicans by almost exactly 300 votes. Granite Grok reported: The Town of Windham used Dominion machines to count paper ballots and upon a believable hand recount, it was confirmed each Republican was machine-cheated out of roughly 300 votes. You would think this would have been solved by...

I Watched Biden’s Inauguration First-Hand Haunted and numb in a horribly sanitized city. Thu Jan 21, 2021 Katie Hopkins Not only is the city completely abandoned by ordinary Americans, but it feels like a military garrison, courtesy of 25,000 National Guard troops, police, and Secret Service posted at every intersection. Many of them are sleeping at my hotel and I couldn’t wish for better roommates. But their frustration is obvious. These good men and women have left their homes, families and jobs to be here, but to what end? We can all see there is no threat to be faced....

Meet your (Chinese) Facebook censorsChina is one of the most censorious societies on earth. So what better place for Facebook to recruit social-media censors? There are at least half a dozen “Chinese nationals who are working on censorship,” a former Facebook insider told me last week. “So at some point, they [Facebook bosses] thought, ‘Hey, we’re going to get them H-1B visas so they can do this work.’ ” The insider shared an internal directory of the team that does much of this work. It’s called Hate-Speech Engineering (George Orwell, call your office), and most of its members are based...

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WJAR) - A supporter of President Donald Trump from Massachusetts has implemented extreme measures to protect his yard signs after he says several of them were stolen from his lawn. While a Trump campaign sign on a lawn isn’t uncommon, one surrounded by electric wire fence is. But that’s what John Oliveria, a member of the New Bedford School Committee, has done at his home in New Bedford, Massachusetts. “It’s a shame that I have to do this,” Oliveria said. “I believe in the president. Obviously, people didn’t like that.”

There are a lot of solid conservatives frustrated and appalled by the Biden Riots, and a lot of those folks wonder why Donald Trump doesn’t just make it all stop – you know, sort of like Grandpa Badfinger implicitly promises he will do if we restore the garbage liberal establishment, except with military force. “Call up the Guard,” right? But what folks do not understand are the practical problems with Trump using troops (sending federal law enforcement officers presents similar problems, but also a unique and big one – there just aren’t as many federal cops as there are soldiers)....
