Alabama voters can be forgiven if they preferred to sit out Tuesday’s special Senate election, but those who turned out narrowly elected Democrat Doug Jones to fill the seat vacated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The result is a painful lesson for the Alabama Republicans who nominated Roy Moore in the September primary. But it’s also a useful act of political hygiene for the national Republican Party given the accusations of sexual misconduct against the former judge. The cost of defeat will be high and immediate. Despite his campaign vows to “cross the aisle” to work with Republicans, Mr. Jones...

The big loser in Tuesday's Alabama's special Senate election was not the Republican Party. They had already lost weeks ago, the moment the Washington Post wrote their (carefully vetted, in this instance) exposé of the thirty-year-old sexual proclivities of Judge Roy Moore.

Politics is a bloodsport...but, it is also a people contact sport. When I learned back a week or so ago, that Judge Roy Moore was not out campaigning in public...I knew this political game for Moore was over or, at least on a dangling, dangerous lifeline. One of the many major reasons that Democrat, Hillary Clinton lost her POTUS run to Donald J. Trump is that she literally stopped major campaign activity starting in August, 2016...a big, major mistake. Pressing the flesh of voters is an absolute must and, Doug Jones did exactly that many times over. Roy Moore did...

Experienced political Alabama columnist Jeff Flowers reports extremely heavy turnout, early, in rural highly evangelical areas. He seems to have an objective view of the race. Predicts 7% win for Moore. Out of state liberal money poured in...Moore outspent 14/1.

Beverly Young Nelson has finally admitted that she forged a portion of the infamous high school yearbook that she and attorney Gloria Allred used as proof of her accusations against U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore. And in yet another blow to the credibility of ABC News, the disgraced, left-wing network downplayed the bombshell by presenting this admission of forgery as adding “notes” to the inscription.

ABC News reports Beverly Young Nelson will have a news conference later today. In this interview, she indicates that she added the date/location to the yearbook but maintains the signature is Roy Moore's.

RUSH: I got tell you, folks, I’m stunned, I’m surprised, I’m shocked. I thought that Al Franken would try to hang in there for another week. I thought he would try to make it past December 12th because that’s the key date. I told Snerdley that I was all ready for Franken to continue to stay in the Senate, not resign, defy his party. I told Snerdley, I told Snerdley before the program, just to get it on record, why I thought Franken would do that. Turns out I was wrong. Greetings. Great to have you. Rush Limbaugh and broadcast...

Andrea Mitchell joined Chris Matthews in insisting that President Trump decide to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in part to benefit Republican U.S. Senate candidate in Alabama Roy Moore. Trump made the move Wednesday because the White House “wanted to get this out before Alabama.”

Suzanne Michelle can scarcely hold it in any longer when it comes to Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore. At her Friday Bible study social, the Alabama Democrat is so troubled by Moore's alleged sexual misconduct involving teen girls that she's taken to applying Jesus's teachings to today's politics. Michelle, 34, wants to know how anyone, including right-leaning Christians she sometimes socializes with, can square the "biblical truths" by which they all abide with what she sees as a "single-issue voting population." "From people who are friends of mine, who have different political ideologies, they hold matters of the soul in...

Thousands of felons across Alabama have registered to vote in recent weeks, according to Pastor Kenneth Glasgow, who is heading up a statewide effort to get felons to the voting booth. Glasgow's goal is to get as many felons as possible signed up to vote before the end of the day Monday, the deadline to be able to cast a ballot in Alabama's Dec. 12 U.S. Senate special election. "In the last month, I think we registered at least five- to ten-thousand people all over the state," Glasgow, president of Dothan's The Ordinary People Society (TOPS) advocacy group, said Monday....

Following the annual White House Turkey pardon, President Trump held an impromptu gaggle with the press before his departure to Mar-a-Lago. When asked if he supported GOP Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore, President Trump responded, “We don’t need a liberal democrat in that seat.” President Trump wants a Republican representing Alabama in the US Senate. GOP elites are hoping ultra-liberal Doug Jones wins the special election on December 12th.

Alabama GOP nominee Roy Moore is polling 12 points behind his Democratic opponent Doug Jones in the wake of allegations that Moore had initiated a sexual encounter with a minor, according to a poll from the Senate GOP’s campaign arm. The National Republican Senatorial Committee’s (NRSC) poll, which was obtained by The Hill, found that Jones was leading Moore by a double-digit margin, 51 to 39 percent. The polling was conducted the day after The Washington Post reported on the allegations. The survey also found that Moore’s favorability has dropped to 35 percent, compared to an NRSC poll from October...

Women speaking courageously about sexual harassment is highly rewarded in media circles right now. Roy Moore's accusers in The Washington Post have been hailed as brave and credible....especially by The Washington Post. Post media columnist Margaret Sullivan wrote another Team Player column on Tuesday about how her newspaper's sources should be honored. Somehow, Sullivan can't remember that last year, she smeared Bill Clinton's accusers when Donald Trump brought them to an event before the second presidential debate. She called them participants in a "truth-averse" Steve Bannon exercise, a "surreal gathering," a "twisted version of the Last Supper." The Sullivan column...

About six or seven months ago, Sen. Luther Strange's campaign heard that Roy Moore "liked to chase women around the courthouse," according to two Alabama Republican sources. At the time, Moore faced a three-way Republican primary against Strange and Rep. Mo Brooks. In a tight race, it was clear the rumor could prove politically lethal. "We did a lot of research. We tried and tried and tried," one source said. "I think if we were able to find the names out, we probably would have passed it along to a reporter to track down ... We just weren't able."

The national party pulls out of a fundraising pact with the Alabama candidate, further isolating him. The Republican National Committee is withdrawing its support for besieged Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, leaving him increasingly isolated as he confronts charges of sexual misconduct with teenagers. The RNC is pulling out of a joint fundraising agreement it had with Moore, according to a senior party official briefed on the decision. It is also canceling a field program it had set up ahead of the state’s Dec. 12 special election. The committee had about a dozen paid canvassers in Alabama working for Moore....

NEW YORK (WBMA) - In a press conference Monday afternoon, Attorney Gloria Allred called for a congressional hearing by the Senate Judiciary Committee, where she said her client would testify under oath about an alleged sexual assault.

If one reads the original Washington Post article on Judge Moore’s supposed harassment of underage “girls” with an open mind, one will conclude that Judge Moore is completely innocent, and that he is the victim of Fake News. First, a few definitions. I shall call a human female who is under the age of consent, a “girl.” I shall call a human female who is of the age of consent, a “woman.” I shall also define the “age of consent” to be what the legal code of the state of Alabama, both in the 1970s and today, to be the...
