After initially saying there were two suspects, police from the Sureté du Québec confirmed around noon Monday that there was only one. The other is being considered a witness. Court officials in Quebec City identified the men as Alexandre Bissonnette and Mohamed El Khadir. It was not immediately clear which man was the suspect.
