I just got back from the North Dallas Wal-Mart just off the George W. Bush freeway and Marsh rd, consistently had 5 cent .22 ammunition when I visited my Daughter in October.  When I checked on 29 November, there were five boxes of Winchester copper-plated .22 LR, 333 round boxes for $14.97.  That translates to 4.5 cents a cartridge.   I suspected that it was a fluke.Today, at 11:30 on 11 December, I checked again.  This time the shelves were full of .22 at Wal-Mart, including quite a few bulk packs.  The Remington ammo today was 4.9 cents a round;...

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — San Francisco Supervisor Mark Farrell Tuesday introduced an ordinance that would require firearms dealers to videotape all gun and ammunition sales and share ammunition sales data with police. The ordinance would require gun stores to keep all videos made of gun and ammunition sales for at least a year, and all records of ammunition sales for up to five years, according to Farrell.

With technology changing rapidly I am looking for a solution to take payment for goods and services via credit card through my smart phone. Many small time operators have been using Square Reader for their point of purchase reader and my main concern is their policy of not allowing purchases of guns and ammunition. I support the Second Amendment and I don't want to use Square Reader if there are better alternatives out there. Square Reader takes 2.75% per transaction as well. Does anyone use another reader with a better constitutional record and/or lower fees?
