American middle-class families, who are most likely to serve in the military and pay an overwhelming percentage of their income in federal taxes, are not benefiting from the policies of the Biden administration, a recent Monmouth University poll revealed. SACRAMENTO Legislation to provide prescription drug discounts for about 5 million uninsured or underinsured Californians was approved by the Senate on Tuesday despite warnings that it wouldn't work or could harm the state's poorest residents.
