VIDEO AT LINK............... May 30 (UPI) -- The annual Cooper's Hill Cheese-Rolling race in England featured the winner of one round getting knocked unconscious and only learning of her victory when she woke up in a medical tent. The annual event in Brockworth, near Gloucester, featured multiple rounds of racers stumbling down the steep Cooper's Hill to chase a simulated wheel of double Gloucester cheese to earn a real wheel of cheese as a prize. Climate change technocrats plan on using same methods that convinced public to obey lockdown. A deleted government report exploring how to make the public alter its behavior to accept the new ‘green economy’ reveals how COVID-19 restrictions have created a population with a “deep set reverence” for authority and a “powerful tendency to conform.” The report was inadvertently published by the British government before being hastily pulled down, but numerous journalists were able to retrieve its contents. The document explored how to weaponize behavioral psychology to ‘nudge’ the public into supporting measures and adopting behavior without them explicitly knowing they’re...

Authorities say a ball python slithered out of a toilet and bit a South Florida man on the arm. Coral Springs police spokesman Chris Swinson said the man was treated at the scene after the 4-foot snake bit him when he lifted the toilet seat on Sunday morning. The snake is nonvenomous. Swinson told news outlets the snake didn't belong to the man and it was unclear how it got into the apartment. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports the Coral Springs Humane Society took the snake to a veterinarian's office. It was being treated for a scale infection.

Commentary: In a video posted online, a customer reportedly wants to check if a new battery is authentic -- using his teeth. Cue explosion. Some things might seem obvious. But even these things are worth mentioning occasionally. Please, therefore, allow me to say these words: Don't bite your phone battery. I base this apparently absurd entreaty on a video that's making its way around the web. It appears to show someone in a Chinese electronics store. As the Taiwan News reports, the customer was looking for a replacement battery for his phone last Friday. The news outlet insists that the action...

A Swedish man who spotted a rare white moose returned the next day and managed to capture video of the creature taking a dip in a local lake. Hans Nilsson said he has been trying to catch a glimpse of the rumored white moose -- sometimes known as an elk in Sweden -- in the Eda region for several years, but he never actually found one until last week. Nilsson posted a video to Facebook showing his second encounter with the alabaster moose, one day after his original sighting. "This white elk bull is local to the area. I saw...

The stakes in 2016 are huge and the party is fractured. The rhetoric reflects a Trump Derangement Syndrome in which Trump is either a monster or a savior, instead of a politician. On the left, Bush Derangement Syndrome expressed itself in the conviction that he was unalterably and uniquely worse than every other president and would get around to declaring martial law and ruling forever. The danger of exaggeration is that previously unacceptable views suddenly become acceptable. Bush Derangement Syndrome made it acceptable for Democrats to descend into open treason by making common cause with Saddam Hussein, the Sunni terrorist...

A white nationalist super PAC has a new independent robocall campaign urging voters in Minnesota and Vermont not to vote for a "Cuban" and instead support Donald Trump. Trump is battling Cuban-Americans Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz for the Republican presidential nomination. The robocall, which says it wasn't authorized by Trump, was released by the American National PAC and the group's founder, William Johnson, who describes himself in the call as "a farmer and white nationalist." "The white race is dying out in America and Europe because we are afraid to be called 'racist,'" Johnson says in the call. "Donald...

Swedish school children fled their woodwork class on Monday when an elk broke in through a window and reacted violently when it found it couldn't get out. Monday afternoon was no ordinary school day for students at Sörgårdsskolan, in Mölndal, western Sweden. Shortly after lunch, an elk calf entered though one of the classroom windows. The junior high school pupils beat a hasty retreat. "The elk felt cloistered in there in the confined space," regional police spokesman Thomas Fuxborg told The Local. "So when the children had locked themselves into the adjoining paint supply room, they could hear the elk...
