A hacking threat against CNN that rose to the FBI attention is actually a hoax, claims a freelance writer from Tennessee who is claiming responsibility for the post. David Garrett Jr., from Nashville, says he we the one who posted to the anonymous site ´pastebin´ claiming to be Sony hackers the ´Guardians of Peace.´ It included the bizarre demand that CNN should turn over anchor Wolf Blitzer. It is believed that the FBI issued a Joint Intelligence Bulletin based on that post that warned CNN and other media companies that hack attacks could be in the works.

The hacker group that brought Sony to its knees is now threatening to hack CNN, the FBI warns. In a cryptic, menacing message posted online, the so-called 'Guardians of Peace' says: 'The result of investigation by CNN is so excellent that you might have seen what we were doing with your own eyes.' The group then offers the bizarre demand that the network 'turn over' Wolf Blitzer, the popular host of CNN's 'Situation Room.'

Police are often harshly criticized for their lethal use of firearms, giving many reason to wonder: Why don't police shoot to wound? That was CNN's Wolf Blitzer's question to legal scholar Jeffrey Toobin when discussing the shooting death of Ferguson, Missouri, teenager Michael Brown. "Why can't they shoot a warning shot?... Why can't they shoot to injure?" Blitzer queried. To answer Blitzer's (and your) questions, here's a general overview of why police don't shoot to wound:

CNN Wolf Blitzer: Why Don’t Cops “Shoot to Wound?” By Robert Farago on August 17, 2014 “On Thursday, CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer asked guest [lawyer] Jeffrey Toobin why police weren’t instructed to “shoot to injure,” instead of kill,” talkingpointsmemo.com reports. “Blitzer’s questions arose during a discussion on the unfurling conflict in Ferguson, Mo. over the fatal police shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown. ‘They often shoot to kill,’ Blitzer said of police. ‘Why do they have to shoot to kill? Why can’t they shoot a warning shot in the air, scare someone off if they think they’re in danger. Why...

That the rest of the P5+1 group doesn’t want it put out there is the official story, but I doubt The Most Transparent Administration, Evah minds much — it can hardly hurt if the whole thing just happens to look a little more hardcore than it really is, eh? If Tehran is making out that the White House’s comments are meant for positive optics in the United States (read: This deal is super-duper tough, and there’s no need to push for any further economic sanctions), while the White House is making out that Tehran’s comments are meant for positive optics...

It may not mark a tectonic shift in the political landscape, but it seems significant that CNN’s Wolf Blitzer expressed support for Republican proposals to delay ObamaCare for a year: Blitzer was then set upon by other CNN hosts while leaving the studio, resulting in a melee that escalated quickly, ending when Piers Morgan killed a guy with a trident. CALL TO ACTION: Should Congress be exempt from Obamacare? Sign the petition to deny Congressional exemption here! This particular conversation revolved around the epic “glitches” that have plagued the ObamaCare website. ”Glitchy” is a debatable term for a website that...

Come on. Can’t even the media hacks stop the political BS for just a few hours while we pray for the people and victims of the bombings in Boston at the Marathon? Already, CNN leftist hack Wolf Blitzer is blaming ‘anti-tax’ groups or in other words the Tea Party for the explosions at the Boston Marathon. I’ll post video as soon as it comes out. Go F*ck Yourself Wolf Blitzer and CNN. Seriously!

Barack Obama's 2012 Presidential campaign was described succinctly in this term: "Destroy Mitt Romney"Never mind ideas or themes. Just destroy him. Thanks to the left's intellectual deficit, it worked. Thing is, it's not over. There's always someone new in the GOP to destroy and today it's Marco Rubio, despite the pleadings of David Ignatius of the Washington Post. CHRIS MATTHEWS, HOST: Marco Rubio has been designated as the Republican respondent, right, which is pretty smart I guess because he's the hot hand. Immigration jumps right out at that guy when you see him. He's Cuban-American, he’s talked on the issue....

As the Middle East erupts in flames and as his foreign policy scheme is burned up with it, President Obama refused a meeting with Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu and instead went on the David Letterman show. One might think the President's neglect of his duty was a bad thing, but apparently it was perfectly fine with CNN's Wolf Blitzer. On Sept. 19, during an America's Choice 2012 segment on CNN's Newsroom, Wolf Blitzer was full of words of understanding for Obama's choice of Letterman over Israel's Prime Minister. It just made good sense, Blitzer imagined, for Obama to ignore his duties...

UPDATE: CNN responds (see below) To stand or not to stand — that is the question that CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and Piers Morgan struggled with for all of the presentation of the colors, the Pledge of Allegiance and half of “The Star-Spangled Banner” on the closing night of last week’s Republican National Convention. A recently uploaded YouTube video shows “The Situation Room” anchor and the host of “Piers Morgan Tonight” sitting throughout those events, as they were jeered and heckled by attendees at the convention to stand, initially waving off those calls until finally standing at the halfway point of...

Time-Warner learning credibility is a precious, frail thing In the wake of it's worst primetime month in 20 years, CNN is taking an ever harder hit to it's once-towering prestige... it's lowest-rated quarter in primetime since 1991(!)... For Q2 2012 the floundering network scared-off viewers by the score as the vital 25-54 demographic crashed and all primetime programs posted steep declines. CNN averaged 446,000 total viewers and 129,000 in that all-important (to advertisers) 25-54 group in primetime. Compared to last year, that’s down 35% and 41% respectively. For purposes of comparison, for Q2 2012 Fox scored 1.79M viewers in primetime,...

...But Blitzer is the one who should apologize, for he did not offer West’s comments in context. Blitzer also ignored clear and convincing evidence that the Communist Party USA, once funded by Moscow, regards the Congressional Progressive Caucus and the Democratic Party as allies in the “struggle” for socialism in the U.S....

Rep. Weiner To Wolf Blitzer: ‘I Hope My Marriage Survives Our First Anniversary’by Matt Schneider | 5:09 pm, June 1st, 2011 Earlier today Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner spoke with Luke Russert on MSNBC, and now Weiner continued his round of interviews with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. However, it remains up for debate whether Weiner’s interviews are adding fuel to the fire or helping him to extinguish the controversy. Weiner reiterated his belief that his whole Twitter ordeal was nothing more than a prank and is definitely not a federal case. He attempted to laugh it off, saying “when you’re named Weiner,...

RUSH: You know, I made a joke on this program yesterday. This was the joke. RUSH ARCHIVE: Castro knows that there's an opening at CNN. You know, Larry King is gonna quit his job, well, retire sometime this fall. A lot of names have been thrown into the mix at CNN. Ryan Seacrest is one, Piers Morgan is another, Katie Couric, and now Castro obviously with this speech is auditioning for CNN. I mean, hell, if CNN will hire Client No. 9, Eliot Spitzer -- who has zilch, zero, nada experience hosting a television show or any kind of media...

All this week CNN has been taking a look at “Broken Government” and in some cases the cable channel deviated from the mainstream media norm by providing a critical view of government. That was the case on Feb. 23 when Wolf Blitzer and Lisa Sylvester scrutinized lavish pension-plan and retirement-packages for government officials during “The Situation Room.” “Many Americans will spend half a lifetime or more working for the same company only to find little or no safety-net when that job ends,” Blitzer said to begin the report. “Others, especially those on Capitol Hill don’t have that problem.” “This is...

Here is video of CNN's Wolf Blitzer today saying he believes the Scott Brown victory in Massachusetts has been a real "alarm bell" for President Obama, and has caused a "change" in Obama, making him more aggressive toward his critics. Blitzer made the remarks as he was asked about a "change" in Obama by Rick Sanchez. . . . (VIDEO)
