DC Metro Police are reclaiming the area around Lafayette Square, pushing back protesters who have tried to declare an autonomous zone.

Tucker Carlson reported that it is highly unusual for the press to be evacuated from the briefing room. The mob is attempting to set up a “Black House Autonomous Zone” near the White House, similar to the CHAZ/CHOP lawless zone in Seattle. The Seattle zone has been plagued with theft, drugs, violence, and even murder in recent days. In DC, the mob also attempted to tear down the iconic statue of Andrew Jackson outside the White House and once again vandalized the historic St. John’s Church that they had lit ablaze just weeks ago.

City officials in Washington, D.C., have joined the nationwide protest movement by authorizing the painting of politically charged slogans to be painted on streets. Last week, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser granted permission to have "Black Lives Matter" painted on 16th Street N.W. Later she allowed "Defund the Police" to also be painted nearby. Now, a government watchdog, arguing the mayor has made the streets a public forum, wants its own slogan on a street, "Because No One is Above the Law!"

The lawsuit, filed in federal court on Wednesday, complained Ms. Bowser’s move, as well as her decision to rename a nearby street “Black Lives Matter Plaza,” came at the taxpayers’ expense but showed a preference for one faith — or belief — over others.
