President Barack Obama wants Russia to be friends. Since he and former president Dmitry Medvedev, now the country’s Prime Minister, discussed a “reset” of relations, the Cold War’s Punch & Judy have been more like frenemies than friends.

For nearly four years the FBI investigated the international theft of STEALTH defense technology from a small Florida marine company that invented an ingenious way to help protect Navy ships and nuclear ballistic submarines from being detected on enemy radar and sonar. And on the eve before the case was go to a Grand Jury, the case was closed by then-FBI Director Robert Mueller and then-Attorney General Eric Holder. “This was the original pay-to-play scheme and it involves Mueller, Holder, (James) Comey and (Hillary) Clinton,” said Steve Morton, inventor and owner of a rare robotic ship and submarine stealth painting...

A wealthy ally of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has placed a bounty on the heads of two former U.S. military and intelligence officials as part of what U.S. officials told the Washington Free Beacon is an effort by the Turkish government to threaten and intimidate Americans who they believe are working to undermine Erdogan. A bounty of three million Turkish lira, or nearly $800,000, was placed on the heads of former Pentagon official Michael Rubin and former top CIA official Graham Fuller for what Erdogan's allies claim is their role in a 2016 failed coup that nearly toppled Erdogan's...

CAIR not bothered that its client, Ibragim Todashev, was involved in triple murder. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is associated in large part with terrorism. The group has its roots in terrorism; it has helped finance terrorism; it co-sponsors rallies promoting terrorism; and it has lost, through deportation and incarceration, a number of officials who have been involved in and/or linked to terrorism. Given CAIR’s terror-related history, as well as the group’s appetite for generating lawsuits, it makes sense that CAIR would provide legal defense to someone who is also related to terror, someone like Ibragim Todashev, who is...

President Trump reportedly had a fiery conversation over the weekend with Australia’s prime minister over a refugee deal agreed upon under the Obama administration. Trump reportedly blasted the agreement as “the worst deal ever” and accused Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull of seeking to export “the next Boston bombers.” The call went so badly, Trump told Turnbull that he had spoken to Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and Russia’s Vladimir Putin and their call was his “worst so far.”

TEL AVIV – A top Islamic State-tied jihadist in the Gaza Strip claimed in an interview on Sunday that he “knows” that Omar Mateen, the Orlando club shooter, was a member of a terrorist organization. Abu al-Ayna al-Ansari, a Salafist movement senior official in the Gaza Strip, claimed he was told that Mateen was a member of one of the groups that fall under the jihadiya Salafiya franchise, meaning the network of loosely-based Salafist jihadist groups such as the Islamic State, Al-Qaeda, and the Al Nusra Front. Ansari made the claim in a pre-recorded interview to air in full tonight...

Conservatives who breathed a sigh of relief with Vice President Joe Biden’s removing himself from the 2016 race should stop, look, and listen. There are other potential presidential candidates on the horizon. Former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick is one. Although he has said no to a run, and although the time is getting late, Deval Patrick is a longtime ally of President Obama. His only criticism of the President is that he does not tout his great successes enough. Recently, Gov. Patrick put his name on the cover of Winning Marriage. It’s a book about the thus far successful...

Gov. Deval Patrick is reportedly on the short list of potential running mates for Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton and Bay State political analysts say he could be the perfect pick because he could help win over the party’s progressive wing and shine in head-to-head debates. “I think he’d be a terrific choice,” said Philip Johnston, former chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Party. “He is viewed as a strong progressive, and I think he has great credibility with both Clinton and (Bernie) Sanders supporters.” The New York Times reported yesterday that Clinton’s advisers are compiling a list of 15 to 25...

“Just words,” the refrain famously went in Deval Patrick’s run for governor
in 2006. With reports that the Hillary Clinton campaign is considering the former
Massachusetts governor as her running mate, it would be wise for the former secretary of state to revisit some of Deval’s notable quotes before making
her decision. “Just words,” indeed. We can start in her “home state.” We all know about Deval’s assessment of the 9/11 terror attacks as “a failure of human understanding” and “the failure of human beings … to learn to love each other,” but years later he sniveled at New Yorkers...

Watch the clip of Ted Cruz's speech at the link.Sen. Ted Cruz says that if the federal government were operated competenty, they would have caught the Ft. Hood attacker, the Boston bombers, and the San Bernardino shooters. "We know that his wife came in to this country on a fiance visa, the exact same visa vetting the Obama administration promises will keep us safe from ISIS terrorists among Syrian refugees." "We know the female jihadist contacted ISIS, and publicly using social media proclaimed her alleigance to ISIS. How about the federal governemnt, the Obama administration, spend less time trying to...

Mike Huckabee might be down in the polls, but he's still up to throwing a good political punch. On this evening's MTP Daily, Chuck Todd suggested, by way of advocating the admission of Syrian refugees, that the US is better than Europe at "assimilation." Retorted Huckabee, speaking of one of the Boston bombers, "he really assimilated, until he blew up the Boston Marathon with a pressure cooker." Ouch! View the video here.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, currently on trial for terrorism charges from his role in the Boston Marathon bombings, prayed at the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) mosque in Cambridge, MA, which was founded by an Al Qaeda operative and funded with money from Saudi Arabia. According to Newsweek, the Tsarnaev brothers became radicalized after they started to attend this mosque.

Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev returned to court Thursday for the first time since he was arraigned in July 2013, and he received a shout of encouragement from the mother-in-law of a man who was shot and killed while being questioned by law enforcement after the bombings.

The Boston Marathon bombing attacks have not been certified as an “act of terrorism” by the US Treasury, an important point holding up some insurance payments. In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, Congress passed the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act, which created federally-backed insurance in cases of damage due to terrorism. Some Boston businesses were among those that bought the insurance. Those purchases became relevant after the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, 2013. Of the 160 companies located near the marathon’s finish line that submitted insurance claims, just 14 percent had purchased terrorism insurance, Insurance Journal reported. But as...

The mosque on Prospect Street is not only Cambridge, Massachusetts,' largest mosque, but it is also the city's only mosque. As many as 1,000 people a week, including immigrants, students, families and residents from surrounding neighborhoods, stop by to pray up to five times a day as Islam requires. Known as the Cambridge mosque, it is run by the Islamic Society of Boston and is just a few short blocks from the well-traveled Red Line, which serves Boston's many universities and colleges. "The mosque is open to everyone," says spokeswoman Nicole Mossalam. "We don't have a core membership. It's very...

When it was revealed that the Boston Marathon bombers attended a Cambridge, Mass., mosque, its leaders were quick to disavow their actions. Elder brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s ideology was not their own, the leaders of the Islamic Society mosque claimed. In fact, he was admonished for an extremist outburst he made during one sermon. So, one crackpot in a congregation. Who can blame the mosque? But what about eight — including a prominent member of ISIS? As it turns out, worshippers at the Islamic Society have included: Abdurahman Alamoudi, the mosque’s founder and first president who in 2004 was sentenced to...

Another America-hating foreign Muslim demanding political asylum, and then getting arrested by the FBI for consorting with other Muslim terrorist political refugees who commit multiple murders in the name of jihad. Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. Where can Americans get some asylum from these lawless savages swarming into a country they despise and want to destroy? How much more diversity do we have to celebrate before we start sending these terrorists and their pals back to the Third World hellholes they came from? Sure, he’s innocent until proven guilty, but the facts are this: Khairullozhon Matanov took...

Federal prosecutors will seek the death penalty against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, accused of orchestrating last year’s Boston Marathon bombing along with his brother Tamerlan, the Justice Department announced Thursday. “After consideration of the relevant facts, the applicable regulations and the submissions made by the defendant’s counsel, I have determined that the United States will seek the death penalty in this matter,” Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said in a statement. “The nature of the conduct at issue and the resultant harm compel this decision.” Authorities say the Tsarnaev brothers plotted the backpack bomb attack that killed three people and injured...

But they already seemed like "losers," as their successful Americanized uncle told reporters after the attack. They were out of place in the U.S., and my relationship with them developed because they needed so much basic advice about how to get by. I didn't sense impending danger in their household, but looking back, I can see now that I glimpsed a new type of threat to the U.S., one that we have only recently begun to confront.
