My grandson Ben came home from the hospital Wednesday. He is showing reaction in both feet to stimulus. So we have hope for the nerves in his legs. Spinal repair area seems to be healing well. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers on his behalf. 22

My grandson Ben was born Thursday with spina bifida. He had surgery and came through it well. His mother, my daughter, is staying in the hospital with him. He is not waking up often enough to nurse well after the anesthetic. Please pray that his little body throws off the anesthetic so that he will nurse and grow and heal with the help of his mother's milk. Several months ago I posted two prayer requests for a student of mine about whom I was concerned. He did drop out of school for this semester-- after making a 4.0 in the fall. Only a few emails from him had informed me since December. I continued to pray for his improvement and discernment. I have observed weird things in this group/neighborhood. Jonathan is not communicating with me after an email and a written note. His schoolwork problems may have escalated into needing to drop a course. He had also previously expressed interest in a youth Bible study. My educated guess is that strong alter personalities (they are not demons, BTW) within his system are in control.
