I am still alive from those days. They were wonderful and I learned so much. It was all so great to know that so many were concerned for the country as I was. I have several notebooks full of info filed away from those days. Ruth got up early every morning and treated each day as a full time job. Gee, I miss her.
I have plenty of supplies on hand but messed up on the firewood for fireplace. We put the wood up on the patio right next to house. Then the storm hit and the wind blew snow up over the wood. Anyone know a fast way to dry wood out from the snow?
Fortunately, we don’t need the wood unless we lose power. Won’t make that mistake again.
I have good luck finding canning lids in regular grocery stores. The prices are usually still normal as well. Our Walmart has been out of them forever.
So wonderful to hear your voice this week. Take care of yourself and rest when you need to do so. We pray for you each time your name crosses our minds, which is often! We are praying for you, Kathryn, David and all of your family as well. After all...that’s what families do for each other, even your electronic ones.
Dearest Rush,
We are 78 years old, long time listeners of you and your program. We cannot express enough our gratitude to you and the demonstration of your strong work ethic you bring to our lives everyday. It has been wonderful to know that we are not alone in our beliefs, which we know to be Biblically founded. After all, Biblical principles are always conservative principles. Wasn’t the establishment of free will in the Garden of Eden, the very first divine establishment? The freedom to choose. You have demonstrated that from a political point of view daily on your show. How God honoring! You have reaffirmed those principles in our lives. You have been much more evangelical than you know. Our prayers are with you as you and God face this challenge
