I agree. Wouldn’t it come down to who has employed this “cop”? If the university then what was he doing outside his range of employment? The cop was not city paid. Seems he’d have no business off campus.
There are plenty that care. In my neck of the woods I work with discarded at risk teenage wantabe thugs and gangsters. Its a vile evil world. Remember, there is nothing new under the son. God is in control. After all didn’t He just expose Obamacare for the stink that it is? :). Keep on. Stay strong.
You are going to allow an ignorant self absorbed low life help you describe who you are? One day we have to answer to God. Taxpayers are most certainly not the fools. Its responsible and mature to work for what we own. Anyone that says otherwise is as ignorant as this low life in the article. Furthermore, smoking pot and sitting with friends is not my idea of a good life.
How many bothered to complete high school. Too many are out there not caring to do what it takes to get a decent paying job and now all of a sudden life’s not fair to them?! Learn the hard way. Let them fail and learn to have higher expectations— from themselves!!
You sure paint with a very broad brush. Of course the game is physical. Players learn discipline to play the game. It obviously takes an enormous amt of skill, agility, strength, etc. Your smart enough to know physical doesn’t mean brute strength alone.
Keep painting with your all knowing brush. To me you speak in too many generalities to be taken seriously. You don’t *know* why folks enjoy the game and you don’t know why I enjoy the physicality. Back when Earl Campbell played I was in awe of his speed. He was the reason why I began to watch football.
What an astounding response to know what hundreds of thousands of fans think and want to see. As a football fan, I am not ashamed that i enjoy watching the game. Its a fast paced physical exciting game. I like it. I have my favorite team. Thankfully sports equipment technology has made the game safer. Perhaps teams shouldn’t be signing thugs. Nevertheless, I would like to know why. Why does the left want to get rid of the game? What is in it for them? I read all of Rush’s article and did not see where he address the why. To join in the chorus that fans enjoy the injuries is to buy into leftist collective thinking.
Not crying Jim. Just that its ironic how some good folks were trying to get your exact point across.
With all due respect, I believe the fundraisers would not be so difficult if so many people weren’t run off. There shouldn’t be anything we can’t talk abouton these threads. Good, activist, intelligent folks were run off. Seems all those freepers I learned from, who knew a thing or two about the Constitution, are gone. Ran off. Banned. Because a bunch of cry baby RINO’s here didn’t have ears to hear.
Have a good evening.
