View the documentary on YouTube Robert Silman-restoration of Falling Water. The house was literally falling down and the restoration project to shore it up. All basted on an engineering/design error/oversite. Fascinating to watch. I highly recommend watching it.
A drive through the San Joaquin valley with mile after mile of almond groves will give the perspective of just how vast these orchards are. During drought times, the regular populace are put on water rationing and/or higher water rates...not so the almond orchards.
Bubble lights, homemade spritz butter cookies, oyster stew on Christmas Eve, latest board game on the wish list, and my Christmas at 8 yrs old where Santa left me official majorette boots, complete with tassels, Merry Christmas everyone.
Here in SoCal we are not allowed to celebrate any holidays nor birthdays. We do, however walk on the wild side and wish each other a Merry Christmas. I miss the America of my youth.
THIS!! As a God fearing American, I tremble that this congress deliberately broke the 9th commandment against an innocent man; In bearing him false witness.
I am reminded of the 9 commandment. Thou shalt not bear false witness. In praying today and with this commandment in my thought, I tremble for the persons who carried out the breaking of this commandment today, in voting to impeach our President Trump. The wrong done another reacts most heavily against oneself.
Truth is always the victor. I pray for our President and our great nation.
Truth is always the victor. Mr. President my prayers are with you and our country, and that evil in our government will be exposed and destroyed on Gods way. God bless you.
Never tire of watching MOONSTRUCK. Mr Aiello was wonderful as Johnny Camararri (sp). Will have to find Do The Right Thing and watch that film. RIP, Sir.
My Black Friday shopping days are long over, but I remember decades ago waiting in front of our local WalMart stores to open so as to procure a free dust buster with a red devil vacuum purchase. There were about 2 dozen women and one guy. We were poised at the store front with shopping carts at the ready. The doors were opening and that guys voice rang out...ladies, start your engines. I was the only woman who laughed. Told the guy that was well played. I still chuckle over that morning. Yeah, I snagged myself a vacuum and the freebie.
Yeah, I get it, but the building looks like an ugly tenement apartment building one would see by the hundreds in the old USSR Moscow. Big blocks of grey cement, devoid of any beauty or grace.
