    “The information had been migrated over to a different server for purposes of transition,” said Wells. The transfer was carried out in June 2013, she told The Post.

    This means deleted emails cannot be retrieved because they were never on the new server.

    NEWSFLASH: It’s not against the law to withdraw money from your bank account. It’s your money and you can withdraw any amount you wish.

    NEWSFLASH: Laundering money is the process of concealing illicitly acquired funds. Laundering is what drug dealers do. They don’t think it’s a good idea to tell the IRS they have committed a crime.

    Assuming (for sake of argument) that Rush illegally purchased prescription drugs:

    ABC is claiming investigators are seeking to prove that Rush is somehow responsible for the tax returns filled by the person selling the prescription drugs. Huh? When you report your income to the IRS, the only person legally responsible for that filling is you – just ask the boys and girls at H&R Block.

    Kurtz has it all wrong.

    The news reports, whether true or not, indicate reporters were contacted AFTER the Novak column appeared. Novak emphatically denies he was called by anyone seeking to disseminate this information, but that it came up in conversation related to why Joe Wilson, an administration critic and apparent partisan Democrat, was selected by the CIA to conduct an inquiry into the Niger-Uranium flap.

    Once the information became public, why assume whoever may have subsequently contacted reporters was the same person interviewed by Novak?

    And according to Novak, his use of the word “operative” was a general term to indicate a political hack. It’s just as plausible that Novak used a poor adjective and the person he interviewed had no idea Mrs. Wilson was a covert agent – and she may not be for all I know. In fact, the only person I’ve seen actually “out” Mrs. Wilson is Joe Wilson himself in an interview with Tim Russert. Go figure.

    How do you make $18,000,000 from a $100,000 stock investment?

    Use this simple formula:
          np = v
    where
          n = number of shares purchsed
          p = price per share
          v = investment value

    DNC Terry invested $100,000 so
          np = $100,000

    The stock split in ’99 so DNC Terry’s shares doubled (2n). He sold his stock before it reached its peak price of $64. Let’s be generous, and assume DNC Terry sold at the peak price:
          2n x $64 = $18,000,000
    or
          128n = $18,000,000
    so
          n = 140,625 shares
    and since
          np = $100,000
    we calculate
          p = .711111111

    In English, DNC Terry bought 140,625 shares at .71 cents per share for a stock that was offered to the public at $8 per share. This means DNC Terry had a profit of over a million dollars when the stock opened. But according to DNC Terry, he bought and sold stock just like everyone else.
