Yup. You’ve got to have the go-ahead take action, and with Hillary laughing about the whole pirate thing I don’t see our Secretary of State working hard to push a fast response.

I would think the President could come up with a pretty believable birth certificate. Now, though, it’s too late. If he shows one now, people who believe he’s not qualified will figure it’s fake (not a hard thing to believe given the amount of time it’s taken) and people that believe he’s constitutionally qualified will take it as gospel. The same as they think about the mythical birth certificate he’s got now. Showing it would give his side some ammunition though, so I’m surprised he hasn’t come up with something.

I haven't received that one specifically, but I know Los Angeles County recently banned .50 cal ammo, doubtless due to how often it's being used in crimes /s. It's been my personal belief that ammo was going to be the new frontier for gun control for a while, but aside from LA county and some microstamping legislation, I haven't seen a big run on legislation yet.

Don't be so sure. There's the catch-all "there shall be a rebuttable presumption that a firearm procured for use by the United States military or any law enforcement agency is not particularly suitable for sporting purposes". It looks like they're trying to make it more catch-all by saying if the military uses it, it must be too dangerous for civilians. Wonder if airsoft and paintball guns are coming up soon?

Not to mention all the people in the US that hand-make children’s goods. There’s been a lot of discussion among some craft-types about how far reaching this ill-planned law goes.

Frankly, from the sounds of it it'll be easier than that. Throw a handful of rocks toward someone wearing this high-speed armor, then shoot at them when impulses directing the body toward conflicting movement freezes them in place.
'Course I'd hate to take a Taser while wearing a system geared to make sure I get electrical impulses in a plurality of places to keep me safe.

Heck, my GI Bill couldn’t cover Harvard. It didn’t fully cover the state school I went to. It looks like I would’ve been better off trying to pass myself as undocumented.

And there’s not nearly enough info. How loud does the click need to be? Our cell phones will get smaller and smaller, but the giant speaker system that guarantees people can hear it in the busiest and loudest environments will be pretty cumbersome.
