First, there isn’t a snowball’s chance in H-E-double toothpicks (as Radar O’Reilly used to say) that Trump or any other Republican can carry the Bronx in our lifetime. Second, it’s a complete waste of time for a Republican to campaign in the Bronx.
Trump doesn't need to "carry the Bronx". Trump needs to get about 30% of the NYC vote for him to win NYS.
No time for LIRR now. Heading to the Throggs Neck Bridge and then who knows what happens after that. I have two tickets, but I doubt I will get it. Doesn’t matter. I want to be there anyway.
The Bronx is known for (one of my fave ball parks) Yankee Stadium and The Bronx Zoo, as well as its diversified culture.
When I was young back in the 70's, the Crotona Park area and Charlotte St. specifically in the South Bronx were known for being the epicenter of urban decay.
Most of the area has been rebuilt now. But the high crime rate is returning thanks to the Democrats.
“The park only holds a couple thousand people. So this is certainly not going to be a Wildwood. But you know what, President Trump is certainly not afraid to show up,” Trump campaign spokesperson Danielle Alvarez told The Post.
Crotona Park is big. Not sure why the campaign is saying it holds only a couple of thousand.
Is this really a shock? The legislative season is pretty much over. Johnson won’t be speaker after the next election. His staffers were offered nice jobs at a lobbying agency. It makes sense to me.
Yup. No way Johnson will win a speakership vote in 2025.
Mike Johnson. Brought to you by….(drum roll)…Matt Gaetz, and Donald Trump! Guess you haven’t figured that part out yet. Yeah, I used to love those guys too, but this is no time for emotion. At some point you have to look at the actual scoreboard, and not the dog and pony show we’re presented.
Stop.
McCarthy and Johnson both suck. Gaetz tried to make a change and we got the same result. That doesn't mean that Gaetz trying to make a change wasn't the right move given the situation. It was indeed the reasonable thing to do.
I think Trump is in NJ now. And I believe he usually spends most of his time there in June thru August. And he could continue to live there to Jan 20, 2025.
I don't know what is constitutionally required to be a primary residence.
