Well, hopefully not. Mid-Missouri (outside of Columbia) is a pretty insular place. I’ll be surprised if a small town anywhere near here will pick him up. All that being said, as far as I know he’s still working for his primary employer. I could probably find out in about 30 seconds if he is or not...lol.

He actually works (well, now apparently “eorked”) for a department down the road. Sturgeon used him as a contract employee when he wasn’t working for his primary department. Not sure if he’ll be there much longer, either.

No surprise here, considering the same officer called me at home two Sundays ago threatening to press charges against me for throwing trash in a local dumpster. When I informed him it was my law office trash and I have been in that location for over eight years now, the conversation ended quickly. He’s always in our neighborhood pulling people over for doing two over, etc. My guess is he won’t be bothering us much longer.

I do a lot of federal criminal defense work and I’d say 95% of all embezzlement cases charged around here are women aged 35-55. You’ll see a lot of men in fraud and scam cases (PPP loans, payroll taxes, tax evasion, etc.) however , that age group of women has the market cornered on embezzlement.

Biden could only pardon Trump in the federal matter (the classified docs hoax case). He has no control over this NY travesty. That may have been what Mitt meant but it wasn’t clear.
“conservative attorney” Turley has never been conservative. He just so happens to see this junk for what it is and is giving an honest assessment of it.

I am a lawyer, but not in NY. Assuming he has a right to appeal the decision (he should) in New York it would go to the Supreme Court first, and then to the NY Court of Appeals. It’s odd, but the Supreme Court in NY is of lower jurisdiction than the Court of Appeals.
