The problem with applying that quote to today's situation is that Hamilton's enemies still had the true best interest of the country at heart. They did not have an enemy who's obvious intention was to fundamentally dismantle what so many had worked and sacrificed to build. I would vote for a ham sandwich to replace our true enemy.
The SCOTUS did not say the case would not be heard. They said that they will wait until the other 15 cases have been decided in the lower courts and then rule on all the cases at once.
It is not cheaper labor. it is a cheaper environment from a regulation stand point. If government and unions would go away and let business do what it does they could not afford to move off shore.
