Trump is my 2nd choice. Cruz is my top pick by a wide margin. I appreciate Trump taking out Jeb! butt still have concerns about him, such as his revolving door stance on immigration where Trump deports the illegals but then turns around and let’s most of them back in. Why spend hundreds of $ billions doing that? Doesn’t make sense.
Like I said, Trump is my 2nd choice, but way down from Cruz. Rubio is my least favorite. All the rest are weak. In my opinion Cruz is the strongest candidate because he has actually stood up to the Washington Cartel. There is a reason he is hated in DC. Trump actually called Cruz a “maniac” for doing so which suggests that Trump wouldn’t fight for us as hard if he gets elected.
I agree that Cruz isn’t the candidate for those who want a consensus builder, someone who will go along to get along. I do think Cruz would be the best leader, however, and the one most faithful to the Constitution. Cruz would also appoint the most conservative judges, and that very important.
I think Cruz is the strongest candidate by a clear margin, but I prefer Trump over Rubio and all the others. Trump needs to knock off the birther nonsense though or he’s off my list altogether.
Ted Cruz is looking very strong. He is running a brilliant campaign. His hard work, organization, and retail political skills will be greatly rewarded.
Close race to be sure. Not sure why Rubio is so high. Where exactly does he win? Rubio is a distant 3rd in FL. Some people suggested that Rubio would do well in the blue states that vote later. But yesterday’s CA poll showing Cruz winning there throws cold water on that theory. We shall see pretty soon who is right. Cruz looks the most powerful to me.
This is the first time I've seen Trump panicky this election cycle. He knows Cruz is surging and is worried. Cruz had the perfect response. Nothing is more effective than humor. He's become a master at this, with his "maniac" response another good example.
Great news for Cruz! CA is winner take all. Not only is Cruz surging into the lead ( 6% in Oct, 25% now) he has the highest favorability of any candidate and the most upside. The more people see of Cruz the better his polling numbers become. A very good sign indeed!
New Field Poll shows Cruz surging into lead in CA GOP race. Very good news for Cruz as it shows he enjoys broad support and has the highest favorability of any candidate. Poll conducted by phone Dec 16-Jan 3.
Bravo to Cruz for standing up to that ridiculous corn subsidy. That's the type of cronyism we need to be fighting all across the nation. Cruz has show real leadership on this issue. It takes political courage to take on the ethanol lobby in Iowa. All the other candidates are too scared to do it.
