*** the new standard is to just throw the ashes, embers and butts out the window where some blow back into your back seat and other leave little memories amongst the roadside tinder...***
Actually, the standard is not to smoke in the car. I wish that had been the case when my sister and I had to smell and smell like that crap hours after our parents made us inhale the smoke while all the windows were up when we were kids.
*** Gibberish. Absolute gibberish. Again I ask... how did she get in to law school? How did she graduate law school? And how did she pass the bar?!***
I went to law school and practiced for 35 years. There was no shortage of law students and lawyers just like Harris. Plenty of words but very little substance.
The 14th Amendment expressly provides that “Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.” States were not granted enforcement power. Has Congress enacted any legislation to enforce the 14th Amendment?
“The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article. What legislation has been adopted to enforce Section 3?”
The $15k limit is on the giver, not the recipient. So an unlimited number of people can give up to $15k per year (actually now I believe it is $17.5k) with no tax consequences to the recipient.
If God were to heal all sickness and provide enough for everyone to eat and otherwise cure all ills on earth, would you bow down to Him and worship and follow His commandments? History says you would not! Read the Old Testament accounts of God’s people rescued from their sin and given all earthly blessings. They promised to be faithful but it never lasts. Other gods grab their attention and the consequences of their sin follow.
