I’m a sap for dogs, too. I have two rescues, I adore them and would do anything for them. Like you, they do take up a big chunk of my shopping budget, but I consider it money well spent. Dogs are wonderful creatures.
“You have been acquitted. Do you still want the Ukrainian President to dig up dirt on your political rivals like Joe Biden?”
Do you “still want” Ukraine to dig up dirt, like he ever wanted them to “dig up dirt” in the first place. The press is complete garbage. They are hopeless.
Oh, please stop with this. Trump will not be removed. If removal required only a simple majority, perhaps I’d be slightly concerned, because I could see the Romney, Collins, and Murkowski types caving to curry favor with the Left, but removal requires much more than that.
The Republicans know Trump is exceedingly popular with the party rank and file and he is their best fundraiser. I don’t doubt that many of the Republican Senators hate him, and would love to remove him if there would be no consequences, but the consequences would be profound, and they know it. The party would effectively cease to exist. They may not acquit him for the right reasons, but they will acquit him.
Braun’s answer accepts Todd’s premise that Trump did something he should not have done. These RINO idiots have learned little, if anything, from our great President.
Yep, I saw that. It was disgusting. They were reiterating Schiff’s talking points as if they are unassailable facts. Now I’m watching Cavuto lobby Republican Senators for calling witnesses. The media is garbage, top to bottom.
Oh no, we can’t do that because if we did, Romney, Collins, and Murkowski might be labeled “unfair” by the Dems/MSM, and that would be their worst nightmare.
However many it is, it’s too many. And just think, they would have finished tonight if not for Collins and the other RINOs who forced the rules change.
I wish the Republican response started on Monday, not Saturday. CBS, for example, will never preempt college basketball and golf to cover the trial. There will undoubtedly be people who saw the entire prosecution, but will see only part of the defense, at best. Wait until Monday, since the networks have already demonstrated a willingness to preempt regular weekday programming. They would have no excuse to not offer similar coverage to the Republicans.
