Really, is this is just about people getting THEIR post over-ridden by repeat postings of the same story and not getting the glory of high responses rate because they got cut off by a repeat posting? I agree some diligence is a good practice, I do but c’mon, this is a news aggregate site and I don’t care who or how many times a story gets posted, I don’t frown upon it, it’s gonna happen and so what.
Because of the time-sequential feed, I would miss more interesting stories that aren’t big-time headlines when I drop in to see what’s going on. As a reader, who the hell is going to think, “hmm, I wonder if there’s a story about Mike Lindell on Newsmax today, I better do a search.”
There are WAY too many self-appointed feed police on this site. It didn’t used to be this bad when more of us were appreciative of the mission, not the process. /rant>
Meal, Ready to Eat: Three lies for the price of one! (Especially the dehydrated pork patty)
One man's dehydrated slop is another man's culinary treasure. I LOVED the dehydrated pork patty. There was nothing like it anywhere. I just never re-hydrated the thing because I could sense it would be a mushy, diluted affair where the water would upset the delicate balance of salt and pork flavor notes, unenjoyable at any temperature. But as a pork-crispy treat, unbeatable. I miss 'em. I was active during the transition from C-rats to MREs. I miss the C-rats too.
I add a dash of water, scramble the eggs and it really makes a difference in texture, nice and fluffy. When I clicked on the article, I was expecting to see the surprising ingredient to be water. I’ll use water, but even less, when doing an omelet because the water will affect its “flip-ability.”
I checked my phone right as I saw this, the update download was in progress. I turned off automatic updates and shut the fckr off. Why do I need a smart phone?
Sorry, Leanne, from Dred Scott to separation of church and state to legalized abortion to Obama care and to Texas, this has not proven to be an institution we can or should believe in. It was a Hail Mary shot and our hope in SCOTUS was a desperate one at that. It shouldn’t have been allowed to get to that point.
