Ok, so I realize everyone has been getting worried this week about the polls. Me too. Just when it seemed the momentum was on our side-- they tighten, and Zero seems to be coming back. BUT--I THINK there may be a(partial) explanation for all of this--that many are NOT aware of. Some us us have been "busy" this week, with "other things", and so--we were not able to get to the computer much, or respond to pollsters. I have been interested in politics for a long time, about since I was 16 or so. I was a bit too young to vote for Reagan's second term, by about a year, but I DID spread the word at the time. I went on to vote for Bush and again in 92. I have not missed a primary or main election since. As such--I have seen a LOT of dirt tossed around by the liberals, and the DBM--mainly against those on the R side, they are afraid of. Too often--they succeed in destroying them. I have a problem with my 2001 Chrysler town and country minivan. It is making a VERY loud, and scary noise, from the engine area, at IDLE, when in drive, with the brake on, or it does so with the A/C on a LITTLE bit, when in park or neutral. The noise is something like a knock, but has a kind of "rubbing noise" with it too. BUT..it runs and drives and sounds FINE, when it is going down the road. When in park, with no A/C on, it sounds pretty good, with just a hint of noise. It does...

It did NOT take long for the left to smear Sarah Palin, who has re-ignited the conservative base like no one has since the Reagan days--and appears to be ready to pull a LOT of PUMA's and others from the Dem side. I guess Kim Clement was on to something, after all. For those who do not know the name--he is a guest on the TBN Christian network from time to time. He claims to get "prophetic visions" from the Lord. In 2000--he said W would be elected, and in 04--said he would be re-elected. Every day...we keep hearing how "Obama is not doing well"... About "he should be 15 points ahead"..."the democrats picked the wrong nominee.. and so on. The fact is (at this point in time), that the "one" is NOT winning over the majority of voters in this country. Ok, I am just as outraged at the whole Foley mess as all of you are. I am GLAAD that another Bugger is gone. But WHY just HIM?? The "old saw" is that most people of jewish heritage in America tend to vote democratic. This HAS been proven over time. One has to ask themselves... WHY?? Ok, maybe this is a vanity. But so be it. Today, it was announnced that a majopr terrorist plot was averted. One that would inviolve the downing of multiple airliners en route to the USA from the UK. Once again (big surprise) it appears that it was islamofascists that had put the plot together. Well, I for one am VERY thankful for the capture of these terrorists, and understand the need for the increased security measures being put in place at transportation centers around the country. Ok. It has been an Ok visit. But I am tired and am getting homesick. I want to go home now. I have seen enough of this "alternate universe". I am posting this out of concern for those who may not know btter, and who may had been "fooled" by all of the hype out there. DO NOT buy a plasma tv(which should be called a "fluorescent tv" anyway, due to the way it operates). These things are NOT holding up very well. This is NOT my opinoin, but info gathered from discussions with other techs around the country. They are getting problems ranging from blown power supply and driver boards(about a $500-1,000+ repair, ) to the PDP or plasma cell needing replaced(2500+, IOW, a loss). within a year...
