  • President Dwight D. Eisenhower's Farewell Address (1961)... Eisenhower [affirmed the need for but] warned against the [influence of] establishment of a "military-industrial complex." [how much more imposition of wokeducation should be]

Eisenhower: “Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.”

This is a call to the citizenry by Thomas Jefferson’s formula:

(in Thomas Jefferson’s words:) “An enlightened citizenry is indispensable for the proper functioning of a republic. Self-government is not possible unless the citizens are educated sufficiently to enable them to exercise oversight.”

thus to un-do the 4th branch of government - namely, the enlightened citizenry - would naturally include a corrupted school system

In the 1960’s B K Skinner invented the Skinner Box - a maze for a rat to find cheese. It turned out a rat learns quickly to get cheese in a maze. After the cheese was taken away the rat also learned the free cheese was done and lost interest.

B F Skinner then built the maze for humans using college students (at Hamilton College) and a 5 dollar bill. The students learned quickly to get the five dollar bill. After the experiment ended students started breaking into the science building at night still looking for a five dollar bill in the Skinner Box.

Thus proving the stupidity of (some) humans.

There’s a college in Upstate NY, Hamilton College. Some years ago it hired Susan Rosenberg to teach a January term class - Susan was a Weather Underground member and went to jail for the Nyack murder and was later pardoned by Bill Clinton from prison - Jerry Nadler brokered the pardon - it later came to light that a Hamilton College professor with family ties to the Weather Underground probably helped in the hiring of Susan Rosenberg to teach at Hamilton College - Nancy Rabinowitz was a professor of Comparative Literature - Nancy’s husband was Peter Rabinowitz - his father was law partners with Kathy Boudin’s father, the firm known as Rabinowitz & Boudin - Kathy Boudin the other well known member of the Weather Underground whose son, raised by Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn is now the D.A. of San Francisco

I love this movie - I see it is an allegory where Old Man Potter is the Pharisees / Satan (the Tempter / Accuser) and George (from Greek means farmer can be thought of as pointing to the parable of the sower) - Old Man Potter stealing the bank's capital and then offering George a price for the Savings and Loan, handing him a cigar, and George almost falls for it and then finds his faith - then later he's led to think he's worth more dead than alive - Old Man Potter's very words! - is THIS the idea the public schools / tv / and propagandists have gotten many Americans to think? that America's worth more dead than alive? - with nihilism like that of Weimar Germany and cultural marxism? - at which juncture in steps Clarence who gets George to realize that life is not just physical existence but a spiritual undertaking - that the spiritual dimension is where life is lived first with concomitants and derived attributes imparted therefrom by a kind of seamless isomorphism to the physical - and Clarence gets his wings - I do think America is as much about a Heavenly mission - and each of us building a shining city on a hill - as the pursuit of happiness

    LYME LYME LYME

all these are symptoms of neurological LYME - go to youtube look for Dr. Steven Phillips

    read up

if your kid camped and so on

the test - even the better - Western Blot - is only accurate 40% of the time - most people who get a red circle get it only after a prior bite - and many do not - the absence of these diagnostic criteria is not definitive, contrary to public misinformation

nor is the idea that LYME gone untreated for some time is incurable

must go to a ‘LYME LITERATE’ doctor - as this field of medicine is a mix of science and art and intuition and a lot of old fashioned medical skills and perceptions

one diagnostic criterion is if the condition is ‘unexplainable’ or is met with a variety of various diagnoses

... and Athens, instead of becoming a colony of Persia or the estern boundary of the Persian Empire, became the Athens that became the engine of the modern west -

Perhaps the trajectory of freedom set in motion by this silver mine - in so far as the soldiers in Themistocles’ command received their pay from it - continued in its way all the way to the founding of America

Herodotus, whose History’s subject is the Persian Wars, made it clear that - in the same way that the un-reciproal enmity between the two sides of the Aegean had existed since time immemorial in his own time, so to would it continue - perhaps forever

Un-reciprocal - he introduces his history with the premise of the Persian Wars being unexplainable enmity directed at the west from the people on east side of the Aegean - enmity perhaps institutionalized in the cultural blueprint of the people east of the Aegean - an enmity not reciprocated by the west

Yet the west would fall under attack perhaps forever so long by way of this dynamic

Themistocles saved the west in the Battle of Salamis

And the West is still fighting the Persian Wars til today

and Tom Vilsack, former Governor of Iowa, who was awarded a governor of the year award by a biotech industry organization and flies or is flown often in Monsanto jets, for which he is criticized, and is by Obama’s appointment Secretary of Agriculture - recently sought to bring home more bacon to Iowa by endorsing legislation of an INCREASE of gasoline’s ethanol content - and that’s not good when an operative of the Executive Branch initiates or promotes or influences the Legislature - and an EPA study is the basis of the argument

I found about a year ago the multi webbed system

It starts with gmo corn so Monsanto makes out
Then enormous amounts of hydrogen fertilizer are used which wash into the Mississippi
Once in the Gulf of Mexico the fertilizer encourages algae
Which then uses up all the oxygen in the water creating a dead zone
Apparently the dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico attributable to hydrogen fertilizer run-off is the size of Connecticut
Then there is the cost and downtime of preparing refineries when they are used for ethanol and then non-ethanol fuel refining
    The corn lobbies make out
The study I looked at examined the cost versus benefit - in terms of the pollution made by the process and while the exhaust is cleaner the pollution increased in making ethanol will exceed the pollution diminshed by ethanol in a few short years
Yet there is a system pretty well entrenched and it all runs of the distortion that ethanol is goody goody birkenstock fuel and the ideology is evoked and the utopian music plays

BUSH: John Roberts has made some really good decisions, for sure, but he did not have a proven, extensive record that would have made the clarity the important thing, and that’s what we need to do. And, I’m willing to fight for those nominees to make sure that they get passed. >>>You can’t do it the politically expedient way anymore.<<< This is the culture in Washington. You have to fight hard for these appointments. This is perhaps the most important thing that the next president will do.

To say ‘You can’t do it the politically expedient way anymore.’ says that someone has done something ‘the politically expedient way’ before - in connection with Roberts, what is this ‘politically expedient way?’

In the intro to his Histories Herodotus notes the enmity of the people on the east side of the Aegean toward those on the west side of the Aegean - a one sided enmity that wasn’t mutual like that of the fabled Hatfields and McCoys - next Herodotus ponders what begen the enmity, considering it may have been the Trojan War, whose pretext was Paris’ ill-mannered dating of Helen of Troy, a basis of war the people on the east side of the Aegean couldn’t comprehend - thus the Trojan War was unjustified in their eyes - however it began, Herodotus remarks that the enmity had been around forever - (and it may have been this fact that prompted Herodotus to write on this theme to gain best seller status forever - for what’s been around forever will probably continue to stay a while) - and so, perhaps the Persian Empire folded into Islam, where the cultural enmity - as a cultural precept - was codified as scripture - toward those on the west of the Aegean, and the greek civilization folded into Christianity, and thus the Persian Wars Herodotus wrote about are still here today - and perhaps this frame of meaning could prove useful - but it presupposes the West is still on the playing field - if the West has walked off the playng field...

I speak and read Hawaiian and have an insight into the history of Hawaii’s literacy - in 1871 whn Queen Emma and King Kamehameha 4th were the sovereigns Hawaiian people had a 90 per cent literacy rate - these days it’s 1% of Hawaiians who speak Hawaiian - which is actually a lot - and a great recovery from the near extinction of the language - however in 1993 - the hundredth year after the overthrow of the sovereignty - Bill Clinton by way of an official apology on behalf of the US Government held out the hand of rescue to the Hawaiian people - the only condition - that they start behaving like good little welfare scum - they took the bait since Clinton slyly suggested the imminent return of sovereignty to the Hawaiian people in the grand proclamation of apology by the United States... and the next day many Hawaiians walked off their jobs... convinced sovereignty packaged as a fee ride - was imminent - and the rest has been downhill all the way...

Queen Emma was a class act - when her husband Kamehameha 4th died she sought to succeed him as sovereign - which was by election I think at the time under the Constitution - instead Kalakaua took the reigns - with his wife Kapiolani (a real piece of work) - and Kalakaua being somewhat stupid set some themes in place for Waikiki and for the tourism industry to a certain extent that continue til today - 1) Hawaii as a party location and 2) saliently, inebriation...

being inebriated much of the time himself allowed a gradual chipping away at the independence til upon his passing, when he was succeeded by his sister - a songwriter and emotional blackmailer - Liliuokalani - became Queen

shortly after some time elapsed, the sovereignty was overthrown on Liliuokalani’s watch... there was armed resistance until she declared a KAPU prohibiting violent resistance by the Hawaiian people, thus unnaturally stopping the process before a decisive conclusion - leaving the question of whether the islands were overthrown or somehow ceded passively to foment forever after...

on Maui the white hippies who moved there wearing love beads - around 1987 took off their love beads and got into the get rich quick in real estate game with cultish fervor and in 20 years what had been an agricultural economy bound together by the force of aloha was been replaced with a way of life dominated by white aggression for real estate... along with public condict that is now uncivil at best... in an environment of no aloha...

on top of this there is now crystal methedrine everywhere

and the racism on the part of the Hawaiian people is edgy and nasty in a way it never was when the aloha spirit was in the air

    plus, the sharks are biting

I think that the loss of any true viability of a return of Hawaiian sovereignty to the Hawaiian people began to dissipate with the election of Kalakaua instead of Queen Emma to the throne

it is sad because so few people realize how brilliant the Hawaiian people were - and how fascinatingly brilliant the Hawaiian language is - or can be - more and more Hawaiian people must learn Hawaiian and assert Hawaiianess - then sovereignty will return from the roots

There's at least one interesting story about the glass armonica. After Benjamin Franklin invented this cintraption, he gave one to his friend Mesmer - Franz Anton - who was famous for mesmerizing. Mesmer's clinic initially was in Vienna, where he became friends with Mozart, who frequently visited Mesmer at his clinic. There were no doubt many young ladies undergoing treatments involving magnetism and mesmeric technique - it was probably an interesting milieu - Mesmer became controversial and so moved his clinic to France - it may have been here that Franklin struck up a repartee with the renowned hypnotist - in any event Franklin's glass armonica was in Mesmer's clinic and Mesmer used to play it for the patients because he thought it's music was like the music of the immortal spheres or something like that and had a soothing effect on the patients - Franklin was perhaps an acquaintance of Mozart's too - Franklin apparently described Mesmer to George Washington so compellingly that on a subsequent occasion when Franklin and Washington visited France, Washington's first words upon disembarking were, ‘take me to Mesmer!’ - the point of the story being - the founding fathers in addition to being politically savvy were a pretty interesting bunch as well - something that could perhaps allow people to realize these were or at least some were entertaining American people
