lol. I was just searching to see if anyone had posted a Derby thread.
This is a TOUGH race to bet. Fierceness, when he’s on, is clearly the fastest horse in the race. In this race, the fastest doesn’t always win. However, gap to the next contrnders is big.
His odds reflect that. And that’s what makes it tough. If he doesn’t fall down,or get trapped behind a wall…. All the exotic bets won’t pay well.
There’s zero early speed in this race, and a bunch of horses that want to come off the pace. That sets up well for Fierceness. I think he wins.
I’ll still bet on a couple of longshots, like Catalytic and the Freedom horse. But, I’m not making a bunch of tri-bets like I normally would.
The Methodist church in my hometown disaffiliated last year. That congregation was more than 120 years old, and owned all the land and the buildings. So, it didn’t cost them much.
The UMC church I attend now is much larger. I LOVE my church family there. But, they are fully onboard the new movement. They openly support LGBTQ groups already, even allowing them to present displays in the hallways. I fear gay marriage will soon be coming here. That would be the end, for me.
But, I will really hate it. We’ve already lost many lomg-standing members in the last few years.
