I have some economical genuine opal earrings up right now - free shipping, no reserve - great Christmas gift - auction ends tomorrow. I will be relisting this one. If you want more than one pair, holler at me.

I have a lot of stuff to list, but haven't gotten around to it. Anyone want any old books?

I also list at half.com, but haven't had real good luck with that, altho, I have sold a few books.

I have this same thing going on my computer right now. I have gotten emails from several people telling me that they have received several emails from me like ten time each - or more - randomly - different days.

Then I was warned by a friend not to open emails from "so and so - or so and so" because they were infected. Sure enough there were some weird emails at my OLD email address.

I was not using Outlook at the time either. I ran Norton with the updated virus patterns twice and it has not picked up anything. However, I just feel that this problem is not yet solved.

Can anyone tell me HOW to get rid of this thing - a file name to look for (couldn't find the ones mentioned above with FIND filenames . . . . ).

Also we think that the attached filenames change with each email!

As mentioned previously - this could be very embarrassing. I have no clue what was sent out to who - or when. I guess it's time to contact those folks, but I didn't want to contact them until I tell them the filename and how to get rid of it. I don't blame them for being mad.

Someone told me that one of the eagle pics that were circulating after the 911 WTC incident was infected with a virus - I wonder if this could be how it started on everyone's computer, as these eagle pics were really going around at that time.

I really need to get rid of this thing - any suggestions? I searched Symantec site - and even did their in house scan after running Norton twice - nothing! BUT I know it's still there!.

I grew up around Galveston also. Unfortunately it is not a place that is safe anymore. There is a lot of crime in Galveston. It has really gone down. In fact, living in that area most of my life, I decided to get the heck away from the threat of hurricanes, chemical plants, NASA, Houston - and all of the riff raff. I am now living peaceful in the woods of East TX. Even though I still own a home there, and all of our family is there - including 9 grandchildren, there is NO way I would move back to that area. The crime is getting way too bad - and the "neighborhoods" just aren't the same anymore. You may want to re-think that idea of moving back if you want to relax.

Thanks all! Just found out he has arrived safely at his destination. His plane took off just a FEW minutes before TSHTF. I worry about him travelling alone moreso now than ever. Thank God he did not have to sit around and wait during all that cr*!

Does anyone know "what time" this happened exactly. My 6 year old grandson was due to fly out of DFW at 7 pm - and we don't know if his plane ever got off the ground . . . or not. Dad is quite worried. Please post any updates. Tower is still closed? thanks

I agree - that happens a lot. This one had me alarmed because there is also a Surfside beach in Texas on coast south of Houston. My husband said he thought may have heard about an anthrax 'scare' in South Texas - and I initially that this is what he had been talking about. I often don't know which state these folks are talking about. (If they provide a working link - then I generally double check there.)

Well the sooner the better - but, not a total giant rush. We really only want to fulfill our agreement in all legal ways - an still move on with our lives. We will be restoring the property to it's original format WITH improvements. We have worked countless hours improving his land for him. We have no intention of doing otherwise. However, the containers are ours - ahem - YOURS if you want them for a song. lalalalalala - we barter.

We had have a legal and binding lease until 2006 - and had a verbal agreement with the landlord. It was understood and agreed since day one that we could remove them when we wanted to. We 'worked' for him as property managers of his property. He is in breach of contract and is acting illegally by filing the 'notice to vacate'. He has broken several laws already. It will end up in court, eventually - but in the meantime, we are not giving him anything that he does not deserve. He is a lying preacher/thief/con artist - and we may even have a class action suit against him. His own church sued him for underhanded business dealings - so the judge already knows his 'illegal ways'. I really doubt if the judge would rule against us, as he is in breach of contract in several aspects of the whole situation. However, he is established in the community - as we are not originally from this area.

Oh yes we had his permission. He even allowed us to use his bulldozer to do it with. We 'will' make him file eviction in court, but don't want to take a chance on losing them, because I am sure that somewhere, someone in this area can use them - we just figure it is best to go ahead and vacate to be on safe side. This is horrible - he has really put us in a bind - not to mention he has cost us thousands and thousands of dollars.

Did anyone see Yoko - and company - parading around in the recent "Tribute to John Lennon" that aired on some cable channel (sorry, forgot which one). The show was dedicated to NYC - and they sang a lot of his songs and showed a lot of pics that were 'about' NYC. He loved NYC. They were all singing "Give Peace a Chance" - and went on - and on - and ON with the song.

Regarding how John would feel and react, I don't think he would have let some of those folks mutilate his songs the way that they did on that show. Of course, if alive, there would have been no tribute. However, after seeing that show, I would think that he would probably be ready to go get OBL himself!

One thing that I can't help but think - is that sometimes people change over time - they get divorces - there is absolutely NO telling where John's life would have led, had he not been brutally murdered.

I have thought a lot about him during this time of crisis for our country - and often wondered the same thing about how would he react to this. One thing for sure, he would be in the forefront with his opinion - whatever it would have been - and he may or may not have been right.

It's also possible that he would have dumped "Oh No" by now - who knows she may have been the one who had him killed.

Regarding McCartney trying to jump start his career - he needs no help whatsoever - however I feel that some of the folks who are putting him down may be just a little jealous. He is a song writer - that is what he DOES! YOKO ONO SUX! I think that Paul truly still loves John - and is also doing part of this with thought of him in his mind - and doing what he thought John may have done.

I could be totally wrong about all of this - so flame me if you wish - who cares. We are all entitled to our own opinions. I saw the Beatles in '65 and Wings in the 70's. Both great concerts. I think it would be great if George and Ringo showed up at the show tomorrow....and I hope George releases his song in the US. I also hope that they air McCartney's tribute show on TV - if anyone know if they will or not, or what channel, please email me and let me know - txrok@earthlink.net.

That eBayer hasn't bought or sold anything in past 30 days - and probably 'ever' since their feed back is a big fat zero - ie. new name, could be a fake story too. Of course that remains to be seen ........... not saying that you are not 'on top of it' - good find - however, just like Freepers don't trust newbies . . .

I totally agree - there is just SO much going on . . . connecting the dots and keeping each other informed of what is going on in your area IS very important right now.

A lot of folks are depressed about the situation at hand - others are not sleeping well - the state of our complacent worlds are at risk. Maybe folks just need someone to talk to.
