Forcing policies eventually turn nil.
Their COVID booster jab is 95% short. People quit taking them.
EVs have already hit a wall in sales. People just aren’t buying them — mandate or no. Big Vehicle has been cutting production of EVs — because people just aren’t buying them.
Biden may mandate 1/2 of the sales by 2030 be EVs, but his policies won’t necessarily force people to buy EVs.
[It will be interesting to see the result of court challenges in the coming years.]

In the 80s and 90s companies that did government contracts and contracts with larger corporations would list ‘ghost jobs’ in the newspapers and trade publications.
The reason was that in order to finish the Requests for Proposals, one section usually wanted to know what kind of pool of prospective job seekers was available.
The bidder basically collected resumes and vitas.
If the company won the contract, many of those jobs became available. If the company lost, layoffs and restructuring ensued.
Last year there were reports of computers talking to each other. They eventually created their own language, which the programmers could not understand, and were immediately shut down.
