Absolutely. Can anyone else see McClintock beating Arnold in the Republican primary in 2006 if he ends up signing new taxes into law?

McClintock actually has real conservative credentials. I can't wait till he's elected to a higher office (maybe governor or Senate in the coming years, I wish he had chosen to knock of Botox Boxer in '06).

LOL, that's one hell of a story.

"When I watch R. Lee Army on the History channel, I tend to fill in the blanks."

Haha, ever seen him in Full Metal Jacket?? He talks like a real Marine there. "You are the lowest form of trash on earth! You are not even human f***ing beings! You are nothing but unorganized grabasstic pieces of amphibian s***!" "Pyle, you climb obstacles like old people f***!" "You had best unf*** yourself, or I will unscrew your head, and s*** down your neck!" "Pyle, you had best start s***ting me tiffany cufflinks, or I will definately f*** you up!" "Well any f***ing time, sweetheart!"

Yeah, those are all I can think of for now. Is that how real Marine Corps. Drill Instructors talk? I like the Marines, I have a lot of respect for the Corps.

And that's the difference between your school and the events in Goose Creek.

Absolutely. I'm not defending what they did in Goose Creek. It's unfortunate though, because drugs have no place in schools, although clearly the police were far too overzealous in this situation.

There was a big drug bust at my school this week. Right after school started they announced that lockdown was in effect and that no one could leave class until lockdown ended.

So then the administrators and a team of drug dogs came around to all the classes and all the lockers and all the cars and a bunch of people got busted. They no longer attend that school.

But anyway, this was by no means an unconstitutional invasion of privacy. For one thing, it is a private school, and for another thing, everyone signs an agreement at the beginning of the year saying that they will have to submit to drug tests or searches of personal property.

I care very little for the idea of banning Halloween, but he does have a point in addressing the fact that schools have been totally secularized, with the destruction of the Ten Commandments, the Pledge of Allegiance, prayer, and even the word "God."

JMO, feel free to disagree/ridicule, but I think Dubya has the AQ boys spooked. I can't see another reason why there hasn't been a terrorist attack against the U.S. since 9/11. I think they're afraid of him. They had gotten accustomed to Slick and his occasional cruise missile lob, but it's a different ball game now.

Truthfully, this could very well be part of it. Other reasons that I could offer would be that they are not able to operate nearly as effectively as they previously could because of the war in Afghanistan, coupled with anti-terrorist actions such as freezing assets all over the world. But I'm not so sure the Al Qaeda network has been scattered to the point where they can no longer attack us.

Additionally, I've heard Michael Savage refer to the Feds busting up terror cells and preventing terrorist attacks practically every week. We've only heard about several sleeper cells on the news getting busted, but certainly there is much more going on in the WoT that we are totally oblivious to.

Well, this is about the last personal story I'm ever going to post on here again.

It's crap like this that makes me lose all confidence whatsoever in FR. Thank you to those of you who replied with clever and light-hearted responses. Honestly, this was a completely light-hearted thread, but of course some of you can't just leave it at that. I'm obviously some old loner who's just out to get anyone who doesn't agree with me.

What some of you have written here today is the biggest load of crap I've ever read in my entire life. First of all, these people have been very rude to us the entire time they've lived here, as those of you who cared to read my comments would have deciphered.

And by the way, I don't know about you guys, but around here it isn't right to just show up at someone's party without an invitation.

But truthfully, any personal story I've ever posted here, aside from what I wrote about my experience with AP US history this year, has generated tons of negative feedback from a small, but vocal minority of FReepers. Even then, a few people replied saying stuff like "WTF are you talking about?? There's tons of conservative teachers around here! You're not the only one with a conservative history teacher!! AAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!"

So yes, just for future reference, this is the very last personal story I will ever post here, simply because a lot of you tend to be dick in all circumstances.

For those of you who are genuine red-blooded conservative Americans with kind hearts, thank you all so much for being out there. The rest of you that I already mentioned, go to hell for all I care.

That's all. Period, end of story.

How do you know they're liberals?

LOL, maybe the fact that they had the nerve to comment on the fact that my family owns a "gas-guzzling" V8 Explorer. Or it could be the fact that they say we're ruining the environment by cutting down like five trees in our backyard.

Ah feel yer pain. What's the occasion for the gatherin'?

My best guess is a fundraiser for Ashley Wilkes :-p.

Go over and get the free food and drink.

Meh, they never invite anyone who lives around here. Just their liberal friends from San Jose probably.

Wow. I find it truly amazing that he has been able to function as he has while addicted to such a terrible drug. But then again the thing about over a hundred pills a day way probably an out and out lie. Maybe a few at most.

To tell you the truth, I am very shocked by this, but I have no less respect for Rush in any way. He is still a great man and a national treasure. It's not as if he decided to go out on the street and buy narcotics from a dealer. He was prescribed a terribly addictive drug after the back surgery that the doctor botched, and he simply got hooked.

What I truly respect is that he admitted he has a problem and is going to get help. I greatly look forward to more excursions into broadcast excellence in the future!

God bless Mr. Limbaugh. I will certainly pray for this great man.

Damn, I've driven a Viper before and I can say with certainty that they are frighteningly fast. It totally blew me away. Luckily I was in the controlled environment of the racing pad at Laguna Seca, meaning it didn't matter that I took a turn while totally flooring it (only in second gear too), totally scorched the tires, nearly went into a spin, and took out like 5 cones (we were doing an autocross course).

But such is the nature of a beast like that. That car is pure testosterone. Maybe I'll own one some day :0).
