IBTZ (I bet there zotted)

Zot threads in the good ole days were always fun on Freerepublic, the graphics were outstanding. However, I don’t remember anyone ever getting zotted for asking a simple computer question.

The problem is that the CD ROM in the drive is having read errors (dirty or scratched). You have to keep the drive from trying to autostart and computer from trying to read the ROM. So, basically disable autostart in Windows (find instruction on the web for your operating system flavor)and reboot in safe mode. Open my computer (when drive is not trying to read), right click on cd drive icon and select eject. Should work.

Funny how the mind can play tricks on you, I assumed that he would remember his campaign’s opponents first name and not once registered that he called him Jim and Tom?

How many times did this occur? Since I really don’t want to suffer through Obama’s stuttering once again to find out.

Two seconds before the big event, five cables spools are shot from its base, four radial and one axial. These five cables are used as antennae to transfer the full force of EMP bomb. The directed magnetic pulse travels down the length of these wires.

INT. CENTRAL PARK APARTMENT – DREAM SEQUENCE

The terrorist daydream shifts: A non-descript man hears a sharp crack in the distance, he mistakes it for an innocent clap of thunder, however by the time sound reaches his ears, the civilized portion Manhattan has became unglued. The fluorescent light in his kitchen and the television set glows eerily bright, even though they are turned off. He knows the TV and light are off because he has no power. He smells the faint, but growing stronger smell of ozone that is mixed with smothering plastic. Blue smoke seeps from his electrical outlets. The man’s glowing computer screen is a paperweight along with every other piece of electrical equipment he owns.

Looking out his apartment window he notices that every vehicle is stopped dead in its tracks, and for the first time he realizes that Manhattan has been silence. The bomb has effectively thrown New York City back 200 years.

Am going to believe my lying eyes or you? Let’s face it, I might not completely understand it, but I can see that for over 20 years the price of oil has been fairly stable through two gulf wars, terrorist attacks, an unsettled middle east; and if you want to go back further the cold war. Now that speculators entered the market big time and are trading overseas while risking 2,000% more capital, the price has jumped 550% with no sign of weakening. Demand has gone down since the drastic price rise, yet the price hasn’t.
