I have concluded that if you don’t learn how to behave, your own ideas will lead you down the path of no return. Behaving according to civilized rules is the way to go, emotions be damned.
You could have introduced yourself, struck up a conversation with them, asked if they were neighbors, where they lived, Andy Griffith style, maybe they were in need of a decent adult role model in their lives. But there is always next time. Told them you weren’t necessarily opposed to them fishing but the proper way to go about it is to ask permission.

Graduating law school at 27 or 28 is totally normal. In an urban setting, lots of grads are way older than that. In my law school days, I was 23 when I graduated (because of early admission I started at 20 as did about 5 other kids) but there were people who started in their 40s.
Geez that was not very nice of you. Fishing is pretty innocent. I get it if they were smoking weed. But something wholesome and benign like fishing? You just proved to them the world sucks.
People aren’t willing to pay $8 for coffee they can make at home. I used to make my daughter coffee at home before school every day with the syrup and all, special go cup with a lid, just as yum if not better than Starbucks.
The woman was evil, not crazy. She held a job for years. Lived in a “normal” society for her entire life. I am not “spreading drama,” I am posting a news article.
